I’m not dead, just really focused on training!
Wednesday, July 30th, 2008Sorry to dissapear like that. I have been spending that last 4 weeks training hard. I am trying to get down to 14% or 110lbs and it hasn’t been easy. I have been doing an hour of cardio a day–7 days a week, plyometric training–with my trainer–twice a week, and weight training 6 days a week. I changed my diet from the zone, to the metabolic diet, which has given me enough energy to increase my volume of training and reduced the calories I need to stay full.
As you can tell by my progress pic, it’s working. People at the gym are saying I am "inspiring" them to train harder. I am even seeing more women in the weight room. I can’t wait to compete and start training people.
A couple of weeks ago, a little girl passed me as I was in the squat rack, and she smiled at me. It made me feel like I am a role model, too. I hope it inspries her to be strong.
What is happening to me, the body changes, the strength increases, in the last 4 weeks has been increadable. I am really happy and hope you are all doing well, too. I have been really busy with training, so I won’t post more than every couple of weeks now.
I hope you all understand! This is an exciting time for me, and I wish I could share more often, but there is only so much time in a day. And after 2 hours+ training 6 days a week, you are to tired to come home and write about it.
Cheers and good luck with your goals!
