College

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Okay so i moved away to college in January, big transition! It was so hard at first to get back into my normal routine, from not knowing how to manage my money, to going to frat parties and trying to meet new people. It’s so tough to maintain what I had been doing before. Slowly but surely I am getting back to my old habits. It’s just sad to think that I let myself go for a good month or so. Does anyone have any good tips to motivate myself more? I woke up this morning for the first time in about a month or 2 and went straight to the gym. I did the tredmill for 40 mins with intervals on an incline of 4… I’ve been doing that though everytime I work out. Any good tips on cardio to help me burn fat? I have a beauty pageant coming up next weekend and I just don’t feel fit enough for it, but I know it’s mainly all about confidence. Anyways, I’ve been doing good… for the most part, just the alcohol and the sweets are hard to resist. I cook most of all my meals and when I do go out I choose the better-bad choices. I know the alcohol and the sweets are a killer. But I really, in all honesty, believe that working out can help curve those cravings. So that’s why I am going to try to go 6 times a week like I used to. I just need more support up here, I haven’t found anyone who enjoys fitness as much as I do. All of the people who are my friends just want to party and that’s not really my style. Well, I better get going, I have to start studying for a quiz today! I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed day!
