Having a “DAY” lol

Okay so I did something I know I shouldn’t have done especially mid-day& diegestively backed up (TMI* sorry, lol) …I hopped on the scale!!! Not happy at all, kind of sad truthfully. I damn near killed myself in the gym with cardio/weight this past wk and I’m up pounds??? The other truth is I dont eat enough at all to keep my metabolism up and running,it’s that old eating disorder thing another reason why I stayed off the scale for 2months(I was much happier not knowing the "numbers" too).

The sane part of me knows to lose BF you have to eat small portions etc…The scared part says NO. The other thing that trips me up is when I see women my height on here that weigh 99-110lbs lol or even worse women 5′6 over weighing less than me,it does kill me a bit and I know I should never judge someone elses figure against my own.Now the scared freaked out part of me wants to FAST for a good wk and lose weight fast. Other people say I look great in the gym,my waist is super small, blah blah but that F**king scale ruins me everytime:( It’s all in the eye of the beholder I tell people and today is NOT a great day for me..

Scale - I think its someone playing a cruel trick and that the "e" is silent. Thus it is a 4 letter word. So I say the same thing at least 3-4 times a week. F**K’n scale!

Hang in there if you are putting in work (which it sounds like you are) it will work out in the long run. I have this same mental war… marathon, not a sprint!

I scanned your pics. You have to get over your preoccupation w/ the scale. Complete waste of energy. You look fine. The number on the scale is just that….a number. If you’re satisfied with what you see in the mirror & how your clothes fit, then who cares what the scale says! I see women on here that look to be in good shape that are shorter than me but weigh more. I don’t worry about it, as long as I believe I’m in pretty good shape.

never look to the scale but look to the mirror for your results! if your not happy with the way you look change some things up untill you find what works for you. diet is most important its the main thing that will make your body change dont worry about how the next person looks just focus on you trainning and diet and it will all fall into place. but you have to be consistent with you diet i know its hard but just think of the results.lol. but you look great by the way.

girl, i totally understand where you are coming from!!! i used to obsess with the scale, but it only pissed me off so now i rarely step on it unless i have to,or am getting closer to a show-i know i shouldnt even weigh then, but mentally i feel i have to see a certain number to be satisfied….i still battle with body issues, but im getting better-it was hard for me as well to grasp the concept of eating 5-6x a day and getting in the calories to sustain…BUT it was the nutrition and consistancy with weights and cardio that help made drastic changes in my body–AND i dropped weight in the process! if you look at my progress pics i am actually 2lbs lighter from my last show than i was after the show i did so soon after my baby was born! my body really changed bc of the consistancy-SO keep your head up girl! dont worry about the scale,in fact toss it out the window like youve been wanting to do!!! mark your progress by food/workout journal and the measuring tape-that will do wondors for the mental battles we all have!
keep up your hard work, and i know things will start paing off sooner than what you think!
