Because most of the time, the woman has not admitted or accepted how much she really weighs, so when you put her on blast, it’s like "damn, now everybody knows!" You follow me?

Some people are simply "close mouthed" about "their business." My grandmother was 85 and didn’t want anyone to know her age. She got mad at me for telling. I’m like "you’re 85 and ashamed?" as if that was something to be ashamed of. Later she got over it because when she got 95 you couldn’t shut her up. . . go figure. The point seemed to be that she had to be the one to pick and choose what venue, the audience and the time to divulge her own age. Apparently it wasn’t for me to do.

been there done that dozens of times in my 24 yrs with my wife.

SOME cant deal with HOW they LOOK and why they cant weigh what they want to weigh. JUST let it ride and if needed apoligize a few dozen times and buy her some flowers.

Well, it is hard to say what the correct answer is for this…but, my philosophy is that women are just as competitive as men. No matter if the woman looks great or whatever, she doesn’t want her significant other to tell her weight or ask her weight because she will feel like you are comparing her to other women. It’s an ego thing. In her mind, she probably thinks you are wanting her to look a certain way some other women look and that you aren’t happy with the way she looks. Just tell her that you are proud of her working out and the progress she is making. She will feel better about herself and she will notice that you are noticing the positive changes in her. Hey you’re just going to make your head hurt if you try and figure this one out. I could give a rat’s ass what my wife weighs but it’s a big deal to her. So chalk that one up to inexperience. Just file it away, there will be many many more.

Hay dude..they make no sence and probibly are geniticaly prevented from doing so by some sort of gene or something. My wife fliped out at me for a whole day becaus i told a frend with a close to emaculat house who was apologising about her house being a mess not to worey because it was beter than our house. She even admits to me that thare house is beter!
Obviously if they are that neurotic about the basic truth than they will be neurotic about something as personal as weight and atractiveness. Good luck with the necular fall out..I’ll pray for you.

Major faux pas!! Young grasshopper, yours is not is not understand, yours is to learn that woman are a different breed from men. And you will never completely decipher the code. LOL

Chalk this up to a early marriage lesson. There will be many more……..
