My legs are just killing me!

Got done with my workout more than three hours ago and all I can say is my legs are killing me! When I got to my appartment I could barely walk up the stairs. After a quick shower and dinner, I just layed on my living room floor! I could not move a muscle….it sucks big time! But yet, I kinda like the feeling, let me know that I am doing at least something right!

Tomorow is cardio day, so no lifting!

Day 1 Repeat!

After my last post, I had to go out of town till today…so when I got to the gym earlier today, I repeated everything I did on day 1. Not bad, so I will be okay. Tomorow is cardio day than thursday more lifting involve!  Just taking it one day at a time, not much else I can do!

 Workout in itself was not to bad, but as I wrote last time, I need to improve on my rest time. I tend to take longer between sets than I need too. With the cardio completed, it puts me closer to my goal of 500 Miles!

Day 1 of 10X 3 Program!

Let’s just say it was not easy! I thought I was going to walk in that gym and prove to myself I still got it….the only thing I proved is how out of shape I let myself go! I even took pictures but will not post them until the transformation is over, and also for the fact I cannot find the usb cord to connect it to my laptop!

 Back to the workout…the main idea of the 10X 3 program is to do 10 sets of 3 reps each. Rest time 30-45 seconds between sets. I need to work on my rest time between sets but besides that I completed Day one of the program…intend to do it till end of september and see what gives.

 Also, starting next week will start doing cardio 2 times a day instead of 1 and also going for longer hours …1 hour+

Not bad for a first day but not great! Also, my scale broke during my move so no way of knowing how much I weight???? So will be going by the pictures…maybe you guys can help me judge!

With this morning cardio, that puts me 3 miles closer to my 500 miles goal! ….

 I am just taking it one day at a time. No hype, no crazy ideas…just one day and one step at a time!

Time for an update!

On the 15th of June I moved into my new place in Albany!!! Seriously, I just hate moving….I was sweating like a pig. Let’s add that my new appartment was located on the third floor and there was no elevator! Yeah…unloading a uhaul truck full of boxes and furniture and going up and down three floors… I taught I was going to pass out!

 I survived the move…and the unpacking (trying not to kill my fiancee, she is so bossy) and everything was okay! So today I decided to get my fat ass on track! So signed up at the gym and did 40 minutes of cardio…not much but it was a start! Did 2.25 miles on the treadmill, putting me just over 1% of reaching that 500 miles I want!

Looking forward to a new beginning!!

I am leaving my beloved New Jersey behind an moving to Albany, NY! I don’t know anyone up there but my fiancee would be moving in August to live with me…so that would be great!

 Far away from anyone I know, except of course my fiancee….time for a new begining, changes and resolution! Received my appartment lease today which is great! Have to sign them and send them back to my future landlord! Geesh…crazy but got to do it!
