January usually means a new beginning for most people…for us in the finances industry…it is the worst time of the year. I mean we have to close the books, prepare the financial statements that need to be release and let’s not forget the auditors than to Sarbanes-Oxley.
This week has been crazy. I missed classes, missed workout, been at work 13 hours straight for at least 4 days…Yeah, I hate January. It is the most stressful time of the year. And it is just beginning, the auditors are coming on Monday and I was not allowed to day off…and believe me, that got me pissed!
I mean I have Remote Access to my work computer (meaning I can work from home or from my Blackberry) but no, they need me in the freaking office! I better get that raise in July and I ain’t joking!
But with all this I still manage to lose 1.8 lbs thanks to diet this week. Not happy with it, but due to the circumstances, I am lucky I lost weight period!
Auditors are here till beginning February, and hopefully like will go back to normal by than and everything will be dropping, and I am talking about the fat!

OK people, I believe I survived the long weekend…thank GOD!
I did my first 45 minutes cardio yesterday and one thing is for sure….I need better shoes. So the first order of business this upcoming weekend is to get me some good running shoes. Besices that…I am starting to like this cardio thing…shhhh, not supposed to be saying that out loud :p
Back pain are completely gone. I mean, not from just when I was running, but walking, going up the stairs, etc. I am back pain free. The doctor used to say it was because of my weight, but I only lost like 3 lbs. I believed that the cardio helped alot…so brownie points for cardio.
I have to survive another week this week. This week is a week full of possibilities. Increase my strenght, make sure I stick to my diet, and of course to the cardio. Let’s make it happen. Every day is another day for improvements

I weighted in this morning at 323.00 lbs…Yep, I was kinda disapointed but hey, it’s better than nothing. But since I felt short of my goal to be under 320 by today, I will have to start doing 45 minutes cardio everyday for the upcoming week, and that is startig today!
Hopefully that will carry some results and the fat will start melting off! I am still fighting the good fight and not giving up!!! But GOD, I need a breakthrough next week to keep this going. You know when you are at that point, that you need that little hope, as small at it can be, that you can do this and you need to do it! Okay, that is the point where I am at now…..I need that small miracle!

Yep, that was the question i was asking myself all week long….I have read so many blogs that are fascinating. and just draw you in and I would love to keep on reading them. But I cannot find a way to subscribe or remind myself to reach such and such blog!
I mean it drives me nuts…because you miss out on so much and before you know it the person already wrote like 20 more entries and there, you missed all the fun!
So if anyone has a solution to my problem, please help out!!!! I want to read the blogs, I want to keep on reading and adding my opinions…but how do I make it an easy step….
That about covers it

Guess it is that time again
My weight is still playing games with me, so waiting for the the pictures on Feb 3 2007 to see the real progress. I am still not giving up and actually motivated to work harder! What other choices do I really have?
My shopping trip thru Macy’s proved it! Took me forever to find shirt that fit! By the way, Macy’s don’t even carry my size in pants….what a shame! Anywya…still moving forward and not giving up!
I am finally getting the hang of my diet…so that is good! Now need to really stay on track in regards to cardio. Yep, the necessary evil. As of tomorow, I promise myself to do cardio atr least 6 times a week! And need to stick to that!
Workout are coming along nicely and my cousing is back at the gym! He joined today actually…his bodyspace is : http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/unrealisme/
Hopefully we will help each other work thru this!!! Stay posted people….Changes are coming this way!

Yes people, I am still at it…still in the game! I am still taking everything one day at a time and sticking to my guns! I am giving this my all…this way I have no regrets when I wake up tomorow! I am making this happen in 08….08 is my year
I spend the weekend in New York with my fiancée and her famnily, so no workout for me. But I did lose some of the 2 lbs I gained, yeah, amazing what diet alone can do! The wake for her aunt is on Wednesday and the funeral on Thursday morning. I am trying to workout a schedule between work/ school and gym so I don’t miss anything!
————————————–>
Diet
My diet is getting better and better, but still need improvements. I am slowly learning to control my urge to eat more than I need too and my desire to go crazy on junk food! So far has been working, now just waiting for the weight to start dropping…..Hopefully I will reach my goal for this month which is reaching 315 lbs. Let me rephrase that…I am kicking my ass so I can reach my goal
———————————-
Training
Workouts are coming along great! Now I my biggest fear is too lose strenght while cutting. I don’t want to but I know it is bound to happen. Guess I will have to deal with that in due time. Also, keeping everything simple and effective, not trying to kill myself
—————————————— —-
Cardio
Today I finally did cardio without any back pain. I am hoping that would be the last of it, but have a feeling I am asking for too much! After all, I am still on the heavy side. So let’s keep on cutting the fat so I could get ride of those for good!
Speed is now between 3.0 mph and 3.5 mph. Started to jog…not for long. between about 30 seconds to 3 minutes at 4 mph. Testing the waters and so far I like it. But before I really up this I need to buy myself some really good shoes!
……
Last but not least….I love the new workout tracker on bodyspace. Today I used it for the first time and I have a feelig I am really going to enjoy it!

My fiancee aunt passed away this morning of a heart attack!
Now she is freaking out. Her dad passed away of a heart attack when she was 2, one of her uncles also, and now her aunt on her mother side!
Basically both sides of her family are susceptible to heart failures….and she is afraid the same faith is reserve for her!
And they were all overweight (her father, aunt, and uncle)
I will be leaving work soon to be be with her. Not sure if I will be able to access the computer than and the family have not decide when or where the funeral will be.
Take care guys and girl, and take care of yourselves, your healths and your bodies. Life is short, let’s not make it any shorter with the decisions we make. Her aunt was only 49 and she is leaving behind a family that loved her and is going to miss her terribly!

Cardio
I just finished my cardio on the treadmill I borrowed from my cousin. It is old, space is tight and the speed does not go over 5 mph. But you know what, it is great for a beginner like me and I like it so far.
So for tonight I did 30 minutes on the treadmill with the speed between 2.0 and 2.5 mph. I believed I walked 1.17 miles. Yes, it is nothing to gloat over or brag about, but it is a beginning. Back pain was quite minimal tonight.
The only discomfort I may have had tonight was some little pain around my stomach, love handles. It just was there at about 20 to 25 minutes into my workout. Besides that, all was good!
