Some update!!!!

 It’s been awhile since I posted anything on my bodyblog. It just seems easier to just update the journal that I am currently updating…but yes, that is no excuse.

I think I will keep the body blog for my personnal thoughts and strugles…it will be my personnal corner!.

Rehab

Starting today I will be going thru a rehab process…No worries, it is not for drugs….but for food that are not good for you! I am going to try to go 30 days eating up to 95% of clean food, so : veggies, fruit, fish, poutry, oatmeal…nothing fried, nothing from a fast food restaurant. My cousin also bet me $500 that I could not do it….So we will have to wait and see. So far survived my first day…just got to keep on tracking forward! I will keep you guys posted!

Motivation

 The source of motivation might be different from everyone and same goes for the effect. My motivation lately have been my failur to loose this weight so far. That encourage me to keep on going, wanting to make 2008  my year, the year I fricking succeed!

  I kept on giving myself "the" talk while doing cardio. Saying how everyone that I was a "pussy", that I needed to show to myself that I was finnally a man, etc. It just fuel me more…

December 9, 2007 : Cardio

Ok, today was a cardio day for me. I wanted to get the feel on running on the treadmill….and just to make a long story short, let’s just say I really need to lose some more weight before I really attack this again.

I did last about 15 minutes on the treadmill doing about 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking. My back was just screaming bloddy murder…the back pain by just running or jogging for those 10 minutes was just unbearable. So after 15 minutes I decided to call it quit and head for the elliptical.

 I felt more in my shoes or comfort zone than, and the pain on my back was gone. So, I did another 15 minutes on the ellipticall at resistance 6. I think I am going to stick with the elliptical until I lose more weight. That back pain was not cool!

 So to revise everything :

Treadmill : 15 minutes

Elliptical   : 15 minutes.

Rising from the dust…and doing things different this time around!

Yeah…I am back (I have been saying that alot lately :) ). I am not feeling all the confident because to put it in simpler words, I failed, once again. I talked the talked, but did not walk the walk.

I knew it was not going to be easy, I was ready for the challenge, ready to take on the beast…me. But along the way it got easy to push back workouts, push down the snooze button one more time till it was too late to make it to the gym, decided to listen to my stomach instead of my head and order that delicious burger way too many times….how about the chinese place, by now I stayed late at work so many times that they know my American Express Corporate Card number by hard!

 Yes, I left myself down…again. Ouch, it stings to say it outloud. Now I am back, one more time, humbled by my defeat, humiliated by my weakness, ready to attempt this again. This time it will be different…how? For starters, I need to stop talking the big game, but instead "Just Do It". I am going to take it one day at a time, one attempt at a time, one workout session and one cardio session.

Doing things different this time….and I shall reach my goals at last!

Running for beginners!

I couldn’t find anywhere else to post, so this is a good place as any!

I need advice on how to start running? I know, just start…yeah, great answer.
I mean how to pose your body, keep head up, watch out for the knees, etc.

Since it is now winter in NJ, running outside is a no-no. I have been using the elliptical for the past couple of months but haven’t been too happy with the results!

I want to be able to run and I found out that because I can run 5 miles on elliptical, I am kidding myself if I thank I can do it outside…believe me, quite humiliationg scenerario. Long story short, my fianc?e woop my ASS big time.

So, let them roll in. I am a beginner…if there is something less than beginner, that is what I am.

Goal is to be able to run 5-10 miles without breaking a sweat. And timeline is July 4, 2008!
