So… had the cheat meal. A major calorie surge on my off-day… Fast food, cheeseburger with all the trimmings… Believe it or not it reset my metabolism and today I am 2 pounds lighter!!! So thus far in a couple weeks I have managed to shed and shred and it’s been way easier than it was last year before my contests.
It is important for us to know our bodies and understand that NO TWO BODIES ARE THE SAME– EVER!! I am sure lots of us have trainers and dieticians and nutritionists in our ears, but no one should know your body, the way it works, the way it responds, better than you. Some people thought I was crazy for not doing any training yesterday but having a calorie surge the way I did… If I didn’t know my body, I would not have done it and would have been miserable for yet another week or 2. It’s a science. It’s a matter of trial and error. Of course my meal came at 11 a.m. and I was pretty mobile for the most part of the day. I know that had I eaten it any earlier… sabotage in the making… But I know better.
So with that said– Do your thing! Everyone is looking so good!! Keep it up!
