Getting over the hump

I am have been at a sticking point for a while.  I am going to enter the Muscletech transfomation contest they have advertised on here.  I’m hoping iy will get me to the next level.  I think I just need a littel extra motivation to give me an edge.  I have until July 14 to tp get jacked as possible.  Wish me luck ya’ll

Abs and Cardio

I am feeling much better today but still dragging a bit.  I can at least breath now.  I did some ab work and then 20 minutes of cardio.  Not the best workout but I finished it and was able to walk out of the gym.  The way I have been feeling the last couple of days, I think that’s all I can really ask for. Tomorrwo is legs day in the gym so I will need all the energy I can get.

Not a good couple of weeks

The last couple of weeks have not been good.  I have been traveling for work a lot which has been hell.  I have also been going through some personal stuff.  I have basicallty been treating my body like a carnival ride.  Lots of crappy food, lots of booze, not much working out, etc.  I’ve doen a few other things that were not for the best.  I have been pretty depressed and it has shown.  I am trying to get back on track.  I have some time off work but I have been sick.  I hope by tomorrow I feel better.  I am trying to move on past the last girl (which took a lot out of me).  There is a really awesome girl at work I have been meaning to ask out but I want to wait until I don’t have snot flowing everywhere.  I know this is off the workout track but the bottom line is I need to get my crap together before my body suffers anymore.

Cardio Day

I only do it a couple of days a week but I always hate it.  Today was cardio day.  I have a PT tst coming up so I am concentrating un running.  I am starting to get my rhthym back and it is feeling more natural. I did a HIIT program that I found in M&F. 

3 minutes warmp

alternate 1 minute rest/1 minute sprint with changing incline

3 minute cool down

Snowed in

Sunday, March 9th, 2008

I was lucky enough to be in the part of the country that got hit with the blizzard.  It finally stopped early this morning.  At least a foot on the ground and the roads are still crappy.  I have been trapped inside for a couple of days which means no gym at all.  I also hadn’t been grocery shopping yet which left me with hardly any food. I was abel to get creative but I am glad to get out the house. Whiel iot is still cold the sun is shining which helps too.  I really can’t wait to get out of Ohio.  I’m heading to the stroe now to buy stuff for the week.  Hopefully I can get back on track tomorrow. 

Weekly Grade B

Pretty good week overall.  I did’t miss any workouts for the first time in a while.  My nutrition was good for up until about Thursday when it went down the crapper.  I am making some adjustments to fix teh problems.  Overall I am making progress.  I have some goals in mind and I thikn I am moving in that direction.
