Hair today, gone tomorrow

So I got bored today and decicded to get rid of all of the hair on my body (most of it anyway).  I felt wierd at first but I think I like it.  I’ll probably make it a weekly ritual along with the tanning I started last week.  Vanity is a slippery slope my friends.

Weekly Grade C

It could have been better but this week wasn’t bad.  I traveled for a couple of days on business which threw a loop in things.  The girl I work with is reallt, really into fitness and she managed to keep on her program so I might hae to learn a thing or two.  My diet was pretty good which shows in my positive weight gain.  I got in a couple of days of cardio which is my goal.  I only got two workouts in though and my goal is 4.  This is my last week in this phase and then I switch up my lifts on March 1.

Cardio Day

Friday, February 22nd, 2008

I was going to lift but I fell asleep when I got home from work.  By the time I woke up it was around 5 and like all gyms my place is crowded.  So I ended up using my rowing machine for a half hour.  I have been using it as my primary cardio for a little bit now.  I think it is working as I am getting some more definition in my back. 

30 minutes  of HITT on rower

1 minute work/rest intervals

Force feeding

I started hitting my diet hard again today.  I have to get a lot more calories than I am used to which means I have to force feed myself.  I suppose I will get used to it but it will feel like a chore for a while.  The price of vanity.

I started off the week great.  I was sticking to my diet and I had some great workouts.  Then, against my best judgement, I let the Valentine’s blues get to me.  That led to three days of pretty heavy drinking, which led to crappy eating and rest babits, and eventually to what may have been a bit of alcohol poisoning.  Yeserday I was a mess.  I spent part of the day with my head in the toilet and sweating out the booze.  I still got in most of my workouts but my weight dipped even lower than it was.  I am getting back on track today.  I am laying off the juice until I hit Vegas at the end of March.  The I will let loose for a few days before I get back to the grind. 

The Hard Way

I think they say that today’s workout is determined by yesterday’s nutrition.  Well I ate like crap yesterday and I really felt it today.  It was my last weekend working both jobs.  Not only does it leave me physically exausted but I always eat crap or not enough.  I took the day off to recover but it didn’t help a whole lot.  I have been stuffing my face all day and I hope it pays off tomm. It is deadlift day so I will need all the energy I can get.

Drop off

Friday, February 8th, 2008

I was looking at my stats from last year and there is a big drop off.  Granted I have had some health issues in that time but that is no excuse.  I need to be mroe focused.  I am already ramping my calories up.  I am about to 3200-3400 a day now and I will be up to 4000 soon.  That should be enough to support some growth.  I would like to be up to above 150 by the time I go on vacation at the end of March.  After that I am looking for 165 by the end of the year.
