My hiatus

If anyone has been looking at my page they would notice that I haven’t been lifting that much lately.  I have actually been having some health problems.  For about the last month and a half I have had trouble eating.  I feel hungry and then after a coupole of bites I am full.  Sometimes I even feel like vomiting (a couple of times I did).  I went to the doctor and he saw and heard some things he didn’t like.  So tomm I head to the hospital for an admonial ultrasound and some other testing.  I am kind of freaking out a bit.  I don’t want them to find anything but at the same time I just want to feel right again.  Wish me luck

Big step

I took a big step towards eating right today.  First I threw out all the garbage in my kitchen.  Then I raided the produce section at the grocery store.  That stuff was easy.  The hard part is stuffing the crap down my throat.  I am doing it right now though.  I am actually drinking a fruit and veggie shake.  It had blueberries, kale, beets, broccoli and a couple of other things.  It really isn’t have bad.  It does taste a little like grass though.  It will take a few days to get used to it but if I can I think I will see the benefits.

Back to basics

I finally got to workout with one of my new lifting partners.  To be honest I got broke off.  The guy I was lifting with is pretty big and made me look pretty weak.  I didn’t quit though.  I managed to stick with it til the end.  I knwo I will be hurting for a couple of days but I know that it will be worth it in the long run when I start to pack on the mass.  I am starting to get the diet down too.  If I can just keep forcing the food down the gullet I know I will get bigger in a hurry.  I can’t wait!!!

The good, the bad, and the ugly

It’s been a mixed bag this week.  Most of workouts have been really bad.  But I know what is to blame, which is a good thing.  I have been eating like crap and drinking too much this past month.  My weight keeps dropping but my bodyfat is going up.  Not a good combo at all.  But I did bounce back today.  It was leg day again and I was feeling great.  Legs used to be my strong point when I first started lifting, I think it’s all coming back to me now.  I also found some new workout partners.  I haven’t had one since my brother moved away over a year ago (to be honest we was lousy partner).  These guys all workout in the same building as me and lift really consistently.  They are also all bigger than me.  The only time in my life that I was really able to pack on mass was my tour in Iraq, when I was the smallest guy by mor than 50 pounds.  I got to the point where I could hold my own (I even beat a couple of the guys in some lifts) and I am hoping for more of the same now. 

Another plus is the the girl I started seeing loves the way my body is.  All those hours in the gym are starting to pay off! LOL

Letdown

After a great workout yesterday I was dead today.  I think part of it was I was still exausted from yesterday.  I also having been "cleaning" up my diet.  I have been eating better but just not enough.  I am also pretty dehydrated.  That is always a problem with me.  I gotta down the agua. 

Great way to start the year!!

Today was an awesome workout, especially considering how bad my Monday workout was.   I tried to make it earlier to beat the rush but it was still crowded.  This means I had to wait a little bit and switch some stuff around.  A lot of the crowd was high school and college kids who should be heading back to school pretty soon. Either that or I may move my workout to mid morning.  It still turned out pretty good though.  I also started taking NO xplode which really did give me a pick me up.  I didn’t fell jittery like I do with other products with either.  In addition I added Cell Mass for recovery.  I decided to take a vaction in April.  I don’t know where yet but it will defintely be somewhere warm, so I need to get my "beach bod".
