Pinching pennies!!!

I have decided to get out of the ARmy when my contract is up in May.  Right now I am leaning towards going back to school full time (unless I get the job offer of a lifetime).  That means I have to cut back on my spending.  No more new clothes, CDs, cut back on the movies and concerts, cancelling the online DVD service, and , you guessed it, the gym membership.  The building I work in has a small gym in it so I’ll still be lifting.  It doesn’t have a lot but has a lot of dumbells and a machine.  Its not ideal (I love the barbell deadlift) but it will have to do for a while.  When I do get to school I know that they have a pretty decent gym. 

I am not rich but any means, but as a single guy with no real obligations I don’t have to follow a budget that closely.  I wasn’t planning on getting out for a while but my circumsances changed.  I dont have to live like a pauper but I will need to tighten the purse strings a little.  To help out I am trying to get a part time job doing security/bouncer at a local bar. I talk to the guy tomm so I am keeping my fingers crossed. Wish me luck and lift big!!

Intervals

500 Hard/Easy Intervals on the Rower x 6 (6000m total).  I am reall y feelign the effects today, especially in my upper back.  My weight has stayed the same but my body fat has gone down by a percentage point.  Its not exactly what I am after but at least I know that I am putting on muscle. My eating has imporved but can get much better.  I need to eat about 500 more calories a day.

Crazy cardio

I found an old workout book I used a while back.  Most of the workouts look easy but oyu are usually smoked about have wat through the workout.

100 jump rope turns (sprinting in place)

10 Burpees

10 pushups

10 squats

Repeat 8 times with no rest in between exercises or sets.  Laugh now but you’ll be crying by the end.

Phase 5 Week 1 WO 4

Not bad overall.  I forgot to drink my preworkout shake so I had a little less energy towards the end. I also went later in the evening and the palce was packed, never again.

Cuban rotate 2×10 with Str Arm Cable Pushdown 2×10

Wide Grip PU 4×6 with shoulder press 4×6

Dips 3×12 with T Bar Row 3×12
