The lifeguard at the pool told me that I needed to swim about 58 times back and fort to get up to a mile. My workout usually starts with a swim. I currently do about 600 yards, which is okay since I have other stuff to do including running a mile and lifing weights. I finished the mile on the treadmill in about 11 minutes and then went over to the weight room and did about 45 minutes of weights.
