Drink or not to drink( better say… what to drink?)

Well, I’ve just have to say that stop drinking any kind of alcohol has make a HUGE impact in training and weight loss, the only problem is that here ina Australia, everything goes around the pub (lol), so every weekend It’s a bit hard to go out not just for the training side of things( which I am just dead tired) but also cause almost everything or gathering includes drinking( and have to say I miss my bear)
How do you deal with those kind of tricky things without been anti-social? What do you drink instead of alcohol when you go out? Diet Coke?Coke Zero?Or you just ‘brave’ the situation and ask for water?
