Well I sure do hope that everybody had an awesome Christmas this year! My Christmas was small and different with just my parents and sisters with their two kids. My younger brother lives in Albuquerque, NM and he had to work on Christmas Day so he could not make it. I just want to say that I am optimistic and looking forward to 2009. 2008 was not a very good year for me at all. To start off my wife and I got a divorce and that has been pretty rough for me because I always thought of divorce as not being an option. I also lost my job in 2008 when it got real slow in November. I was leasing land for wind turbines and transmission lines but I am glad I recenty got a job in December teaching high school math again. My great grandmother who lived to be 100 passed away in November as well but I am blessed that she got to be with us all for the many years she lived. Now my grandmother is pretty ill with a bad liver but I pray that she will get better and I plan to spend as much time with her as I can. I am thankful for many things such as my health and that I was actually chosen as a round two finalist for the Ironman Bodyspace Model search which actually blew my mind away! I am thankful for my friends and family that I do have as well. My goals in 2009 are to make each day count and I would love to compete again in 2009 and to get into the best shape of my life. I have always done things half butt as far as fitness is concerned so in 2009 I plan to take it to the next level and take care of my body 100%! I wish everybody a great 2009 and that you all reach your goals.
