Eureka! There may be something to this!

As some of you know I am cutting artificial sweetener out of my diet. I’m doing it to because I want to see if it has a connection to me hanging on to stubborn fat. Well, yesterday was my first artifical sweetner free day and I weighed myself. I haven’t changed anything else in my diet, haven’t had more water etc and I was down 2 pounds from Sunday!!!! Clearly not fat but water. Another testament was when I made my oatmeal yesterday…. I used the same amount of everything except no Splenda. I put in the microwave for the same cooking time and it was quite a bit more watery…hmmmm. Even it makes you retain water…I don’t want it! Either way, I’ll keep you posted! :)

Unfortunately sugar all suger has a similar reaction i the body. If you eat sugar of any kind the body almost insantly produces insulin. Insulin is a flag for the fell to open up and absorb nutrients from the blood. So this cycle really causes cellular bloating if you can think of it like that. Which isnt a bad thing but to lean out you really have to remove bad sugars out of there. Anything processed get rid of. Stick to fruits, oats, grains in the morning. After lunch all carbs should be green vegatables and lean meats. This simple change will surely help you shed useless water and drop real body fat over a duration of time.

Thanks Hville! Im actually still leaving sugar out of my diet and in my coffee I am using a bit (less than a teaspoon) of Blue Agave which is low on the glycemic index. I definitely don’t want to add sugar to my diet!!!! Thanks for the info!

Sugar…….simply bad all the way around. That insulin spike also kicks in the body’s fat storage machinery…..NOT what I want happening.

Keep up the Eureka enthusiasm Leanne. :D

all right, all right! You almost have me convinced to drop my splenda from my morning cup of coffee. ARGH! I think that since I’ve been using the splenda I’ve also been having sugar cravings. Not good. Bye bye my friend splenda I’ll miss you. *sniffle*

LOL…try it out! The agave is still fine in coffee I find have to get used to tasting the coffee instead of the splenda!

Thanks for sharing this, I will have to check the agave out….would the local grocer carry it?

  10. WaynesWorld Says:

Yeah the best way to go when trying to drop stubborn fat for good is to completely go without sugar. I’ve heard that Truvia is probably the best way to go for sweetners

Ledford…I’m not sure if they do in the States I know here they don’t have it at the local grocery store. I got mine at a health/vitamin store.
