Stupid Bluetooth

So, I broke down and bought a blue tooth device yesterday because I travel (drive) at least 2 hours a day for work. I charged it for 5 hours today and the stupid thing won’t turn on. It indicates when it’s being charged, but won’t do anything past that. Now, I have to travel back to Best Buy to exchange it. It really pisses me off. I expect things to work when I take them out of the box for the first time. Plus, the damn thing was expensive as hell.

Long time no blog

Wow, work has been busy! Too busy for me to blog. I did manage to make it to the gym yesterday morning and work on my entire upper body. Tomorrow morning I will be focusing on my lower body. Hopefully I’ll be back into my routine next week. I did weigh in yesterday at 182.5lbs, so I’m not really gaining anything, even though I’ve been eating llike a pig the last two weeks, shame on me. I do however feel very strong and I noticed the difference in the size of my arms while doing overhead presses. I love it!! I’m going to be pushing myself the next few weeks to get in shape for the spring, which I intend to carry over to the summer.

Finally back at it

I’m still not feeling 100%, but I finally made it back to the gym this morning. I don’t feel so lazy now. Unfortunately, I strayed from the diet wagon over the weekend due to convenience and a birthday party for a friend.

I did very from my normal Monday workout of just back and biceps and completed a total upper body workout. I hit all of the upper body muscle groups, and I did so in the same time I would normally just work back and biceps.Needless to say, I had very little rest between sets, and I did not complete as many exercises on each body part as normal. I did complete: 3 sets barbell bench, 3 sets inclined flyes, 3 sets triceps, 6 sets bicep curls, 3 sets overhead cable press, 2 sets of shrugs, 3 sets standing cable flyes and 10 minutes of cardio. I didn’t hit my back as I ran out of time. But I there are so many muscles in the back, it deserves a day for itself.

I have some business travel tomorrow and the roads are supposed to be bad, welcome to Michigan. So, I’m not sure if I’ll make it to the gym in the morning or not. I will however complete body weight exercises in the hotel tomorrow night. I’ll be able to work my legs and abs without a problem… before hitting the hot tub =).

What a rough week!

Man talk about a rough week. My sinus infection is still lingering, and it turns out I have a seperate infection in my throat, fun fun. Needless to say, I finally broke down and visited the doctor today. I pick up my antibiotics after work today, hopefully they will do the trick, and fast! Last night I didn’t get much sleep at all, causing me to miss teh gym this morning. And, I missed starting my new diet routine. But, I did pick up on it this afternoon, venison burger for lunch. Tomorrow should be supplement day, including NO, Hydroxy cut, and whey protein supplements.

Stupid Sinus Infection

I started coming down with a cold on Tuesday night, and it will not go away. I’m absolutely miserable. Needless to say, I won’t go to the gym and expose anyone else to this misery. Nyquil and Dayquil have been the main staples in my diet the last few days. Not to mention throat spray so I can at least talk through the pain. Ugh.
