I’m still not feeling 100%, but I finally made it back to the gym this morning. I don’t feel so lazy now. Unfortunately, I strayed from the diet wagon over the weekend due to convenience and a birthday party for a friend.
I did very from my normal Monday workout of just back and biceps and completed a total upper body workout. I hit all of the upper body muscle groups, and I did so in the same time I would normally just work back and biceps.Needless to say, I had very little rest between sets, and I did not complete as many exercises on each body part as normal. I did complete: 3 sets barbell bench, 3 sets inclined flyes, 3 sets triceps, 6 sets bicep curls, 3 sets overhead cable press, 2 sets of shrugs, 3 sets standing cable flyes and 10 minutes of cardio. I didn’t hit my back as I ran out of time. But I there are so many muscles in the back, it deserves a day for itself.
I have some business travel tomorrow and the roads are supposed to be bad, welcome to Michigan. So, I’m not sure if I’ll make it to the gym in the morning or not. I will however complete body weight exercises in the hotel tomorrow night. I’ll be able to work my legs and abs without a problem… before hitting the hot tub =).
