Best workout partner- ever

I tried out a workout partner this morning, and it was the best workout ever. My wife bought me a I-Pod Touch for Christmas, yes she gave it to me way early, and it has to be one of the coolest things ever. I currenly only have 70 or so songs on it, but there’s plenty more out there to download. I loaded a playlist with some of the more motivating songs I could find… like all the good songs from Rocky, through in some AC/DC and upbeat pop and hip-hop… I rocked out this morning. My workout seemed to fly by, and I believe it helped me up my intensity.

Bulking and of week 1

Gained 3lbs this past week, a great start! I expected to gain a pound, but 3 is outstanding. I’ll see if I can duplicate the results this week, tough task. I am really pushing myself at the gym, lifting heavier and with more intensity than ever.

I’m proud of what I accomplished the last few months. There’s no one pushing me, but me. What’s nice is seeing more results in a few short months than I did 2 years ago when I was in the gym at least 3 nights a week for a good 10 months straight. Because of bb.com, I learned what I was doing wrong, and how to accentuate what I was doing right. I’m looking forward to chest/tricep day tomorrow…. and then working on legs and shoulders later this week. Who knows, maybe I’ll be one of the top profiles a year from now because I’ll be ripped. Egotistical motivation? Yes, but why not?!?

Road Trip

Oh boy, a road trip for work. Luckily it’s only one night away from the comforts of home. The only real bonus is the hotel has a pool and hot tub that I was able to relax in for a few minutes. I’m quite impressed by this Holiday Inn Express, very clean and the staff is outstanding. Of course, the so called workout room just has a couple of treadmills and bikes. I wish it had some sort of weight machine. But, I have learned I don’t need fancy equipment to get a good workout. But, a day off won’t hurt a whole lot. I am still eating like I wanted to… and that’s often and in quantity. 182lbs now, 13 more to go.

YUM YUM

Monday, October 20th, 2008

I love bulking! I are two huge plates of sketti last night and had a calzone for lunch today (Uno’s). OMG, so good. The goal is 195lbs by the end of 2008. That’s 15lbs in a little over 2.5 months. It can be done, I know it. After that, then I’ll start trimming the fat and water weight away.

I will be posting progress pictures really soon, I’m over due.

I did change things up this week, just to confuse my muscles. Today I did chest and back… tomorrow will be triceps and biceps. Normally today would’ve been back and biceps. Just a little experiment.

Good Stuff

I had 4 people at work comment on my arms getting bigger yesterday! Talk about a confidence booster. I was pretty much on cloud 9 the entire day.

I did stray from my clean diet path a while ago, but I saw results none the less. One more week of eatin semi-clean, and then it’s nothing but bulking into the first of the year. I plan on putting on at least 10 lbs in 2 months, but if I manage to get more… I’ll go for it!
