Help!!
Monday, May 19th, 2008I have recently switched to a 3 day split where I do pulls, pushes and legs. I have also done 2-3 days of cardio. The good thing is that I have lost a lot of weight, the bad thing is I think most of it is muscle! I am thinking about going back to a 4 day split, eating more and doing less cardio. I am an ectomorph and have difficulty gaining and maintaining muscle. At the same time I want to look cut. It appears that I will have to hit the weights hard, and do less cardio. As well keep my diet clean (which it has been) but increase portion size in hopes that I keep my very hard earned muscle while still loosing a bit of fat. I eat 6 meals a day, each meal is a good mix of protien (30g) complex carbs and a fruit or veggie. So diet is fine, portion size determines whether I loose or gain weight. Anyway if anyone can give me some ideas on how an extomorph is to hold onto my hard earned muscle while loosing the fat it would be apprecitiated…
