It is 105 degrees out! This is where it gets hard for me to go to the gym-I don’t even want to step outside let alone break a sweat in the gym where they keep the a/c off,btw! I am going to go but i’m not gonna be happy about it…that is until I see the veins in my bulging muscles starring back at me and I realize I’ve accomplished what I set out to do!

Stop whinning,just do it….these are the words i’m keeping in my head everytime I get frustrated with my progress. It’s so obvious,if i’m not progressing it’s because i’m not working on the entire puzzle…I must be leaving pieces of the puzzle out,not anymore!

What am I doing wrong??? I can’t figure it out! My diet is 90% clean,i’m lifting 5 days a week,cardio is 6 days a week for 30-60 minutes. I’m eating 1500-1700 cals per day with one cheat meal per week. So…what is it? More cardio? No cheat meal? less calories? more calories? HELP!!!

So I guess putting things in writing does work because as soon as I wrote down that I WOULD do cardio I actually started doing it! I wonder if I write down that i’ll be a millionaire that will happen,too! Uh,yeah,probably not=)

I have got to do cardio!!! I just had to put it in writing so I would do it. So,my question is…how do you get someone who LOVES to lift weights but HATES to do cardio to venture over to the boring treadmills/elipticals/bikes,etc…to get the cardio done??? I do listen to music and I can watch t.v.,but it is still SO boring that I easily talk myself out of it even though I know I really,really,really need to do it to lean out. All i’m doing is disappointing myself,and not getting ANY closer to my goal weight,you would think that alone would help but apparently not.GRRRR…….

Finally getting back into my groove after being sick with the flu for what seemed like an eternity! I am back to square one with everything but that’s okay,what matters is that I didn’t just fall off the workout-wagon and stay down! Nope,i’m right back up,and back with a vengance,hopefully no more getting sick this year,I am really determined to get to my goal!!!

Weighed in this morning and my weight was up a bit but i’m not worried or discouraged,I planned on hitting speed bumps along the way with my weight loss and this is just one of them. All this does is motivate me to continue to push even harder! I’ve actually been doing really well with diet,training and cardio,I think next week when I weigh in it will reflect all my hard work! Woke up before any roosters would even dare to do 45 minutes of cardio,feel good that I got that in,tonight is an hour strength workout with my trainer which I always love,he knows just what to do to get me to feel that good burn!
