ok so its been a while. yeah yeah. well i started bulking at the end of sep. all is going well so far. i believe that i have my fat in check and everything else in on cruise control. i have added some muscle so far. 2 inches on my chest. 1 inch on my arms. on this bulk i want to get my abs bigger. when i cut to 10%bf i was kind of disappointed that i didnt have the dream abs that everyone talks about when they cut. i have noticed that my strenght is great. my bench as increased greaty. i was working out with 225 the other day. before my bulk i was maxing out at like 235- 240. well i am about 5 weeks in and i wil post some progress pics asap

im on a new work shift this week and its a little rough. i work from 10pm until 7am. yeah it sucks. then i sleep from about 8am until 4-5 pm. this is very weird. its like backwords. i go to sleep when the sun is nice and bright and wake up when it going down. what i do like about it is i lift about 3-4 hours after i get up and its before work. before i lifted at the end of my day, after work, after dealing with people, after dealing with stress. so my workouts feel better. today i did my first 5×5. it felt great! i was reading about GH and how it plays a role in compound lifts and the diffrent benifits of compound lift, anyways today i did every bodypart and all compound and i got a great after-feeling. you know that feeling after a great workout….yeah it was about 10 times better this time. i dont know if its from heavy compounds but felt good none the less.

0900 i got my bodyfat taken. the visit was worth it! i was taken at 10.3%. 171. i picked the trainers head for a bit. then left. i came back later to get my post-cut maxes and to get my maxes for the 5×5. i came in feeling very weak. got under the bench. 225 easy. then i droped the weight and did some reps. put 230 then 235. good. 240 no. again…240..no. not bad considering i have been cutting for almost 6 months. squad was pretty good.300. didnt want to over do it. i know i could have got more. then deadlift. 225 for reps. break. 315 bam. 405 maybe? think i can. i loaded it and looked at it. the doubt was there. i spotted someone then came back. strapped up. pump up. started breathing hard….chin up…back straight…nope! i just stuck with 315 and left. i really was surprised that my numbers where what they where. so here it is…

bench:235 squat:300 dl:315

That gives me 4 months to pack on some muscle before heading back home for Christmas. That is the plan for now. I am not sure when I will stop bulking, or how much muscle I want to gain. I an thinking about 15-20 pounds should be good. I want to minimize fat gains. when I started working and bulking I did no cardio at all. so I went from 180 to 220 with 24% body fat in 4 months.Back then I didn’t know how much fun it is to be on a treadmill for 30 mins.Or how much fun dieting is. So I live and learn as they say.

Once agian, I experenced some joint pain in my left leg. I ingnored the pain for the most part. My squat weight was lighter then usual. My form was decent. It didnt hold the standard that i expect for my self. The rest of the workout was great. I thought about quitting but i didnt. Im going to go to medical tomarrow and get it checked out. Doctors and i dont get along very much. Especial millitary doctors. He or she will tell me to quit for awhile then, I tell them no. Thats what normaly happens.
