My glutes are so sore from yesterdays workout. Definately going to have to walk a bit on the treadmill tonight to loosen them up. This calendar thing is starting to stress me out. We’ve got some great pics but getting the original file has been a nightmare. We’re in a time crunch and not have the correct size files really is holding us back. I was so stressed that I went to Target on my lunch and walked the food isles, broke down and bought some chocolate and beef jerkey. Salt and sweet. Before you guys go up in arms just know that it’s the Endangered Species chocolate. (52% cocoa) I couldn’t take it anymore. I had my chicken and brocolli for lunch while I had to sit here and smell McDonalds from another employee, yesterday he had pizza. Everyday he gets take-out. He’s going to drive me nuts!

Awesome leg workout tonight. Legs feel like jello, even my butt’s quivering. The squats felt easy although it got tough to pump out 12 reps for each exercise after that. Did the usual 4 sets but some exercises like the single legged squat I could only do 8 reps BUT I did set a new pr on these. 40lbs, last time I did these I was only able to do 30lbs and it was tough. Back was feelin it a little but I came home and really stretched.

Nothing too exciting to report this weekend. I did crack open the Glycergrow and I have to say I really love it. Saturday did back and biceps, Sunday was shoulders and threw in some abs and triceps just to feel the pump. My biceps were really sore Sunday so that was awesome, means I gave it a good workout. I’ve been trying to throw in dropsets on my last sets of arms. Took today off. Trying to give myself more rest in between workouts since I think that was what was holding me back.
My calendar contest has finally ended, got a lot of great entries. I’m really excited about that but now it’s crunch time. The calendar will be for Oct-Dec 09 so we need to get crackin and get it put together and printed so it will be out by the end of September.
Welp, gotta get back to my "The Closer" marathon. Love that show, yesterday was a Law and Order marathon. I’ll have to go outside for a few just to say that I did something other than 9 hours of laundry and watched Law and Order and The Closer from start to finish.

Hit legs last night. Was going to go lighter and higher reps but I just couldn’t help myself. 5 minutes warm-up on treadmill Squats with bb only 4 Sets (8-10 reps) Squats BB - 65lbs; 85lbs; 105lbs; 115lbs Lunges BB - 65; 85; 105; 115 SLDL - 65; 3×95 Leg Extensions - 70; 75; 80; 85 Seated curls - 50; 55; 60; 65 Standing calves - 80; 90; 100; 100 (12 reps) Treadmill - 5 minutes It was a good working, went higher in weight than I intended. There was a package notice from UPS when I got home but unfortunately the office was already closed so I don’t know what it is for yet. Could be my CL shirts or my CL products, either way it’s like Christmas!! I can’t wait to get home tonight. Maybe both packages will be there!! I wasn’t really planning on hittin the gym too much this weekend but if it’s my supplements you know I just have to go. Hope everyone has a great weekend full of healthy bbq’s and fat free cookies!!

Last night I took the night off from the gym. I was going to do some hiit at home but it was so hot. I ended up just relaxing, trying to stay cool. Headed in to work this morning. Saw the traffic was at a stop on the freeway, turned around and went home. Tried again at 9, traffic still crawling but I knew if I didn’t get off that couch, I would never make it into work. Some idiot threw out their cigarette on the freeway, it landed in a truck behind him filled with cardboard. Yeah, you get the picture. Driver pulled over because his load caught on fire, when he pulled over it caught the dead grass on the hillside on fire. So with 2 lanes shut down and every firefighter at the scene = disaster! Anyways, it took me over an hour to get to work, when normally it would take me 20 minutes. Not to mention it was already 90 degrees at 10 in the morning.
So, what I did was weighed myself this morning. I finally hit 129!!! I have been stuck at 130 for so long now, I was getting frustrated. I think my problem was that I was trying too hard to loose that weight. The last couple of weeks I’ve taken quite a few rest days and that seem to have done the trick! Wooo Hooo! As a treat, I’m having brown rice cali rolls for lunch. Yum!!

I finished my box of REDuction Sunday so yesterday I was draggin ass. Didn’t want to go but after I popped my WB and GM I was feeling more awake.

Cardio:

My shins were hurting so I stuck with walking. Not a bad workout considering I was so tired today. Was asleep by 8 last night but I feel more awake today. Tonight will be chest and triceps.

I ended up going out Friday night with my friend and yes I was being set up. He’s nice, I’ve met him before but she knows me. I won’t call. We just hung out and had a couple of drinks, I had a raging headache by the time we got to the bar. Danced a few songs, I felt out of shape cuz my quads were screaming.
Wasn’t hung over the next day but woke up with the same pounding head. Took some aspirin, pounded my shake and hit the gym for some a back workout. Didn’t have enough time to hit biceps but that’s ok. Was pretty much on the go all day Saturday, finally got to see The Dark Knight. Ate like crap, coconut shrimp, potato skins, and other goodies (no cookies though). Today I just did about 20 minutes of kickboxing and about 4 sets of rollups. Those were actually pretty easy but the last set I was starting to feel in my back. Got in a lot of stretching though.
They’re putting up more buildings in this little shopping center down the street and I saw the most beautiful sign posted up in front of them…..”SEE’s CANDIES COMING SOON”. I could just cry with joy.
