Crossfit Total ~ More PRs!!

Shoulder Press, 1 rep 85# PR (75)
Deadlift, 1 rep 200# PR (185)

I’m a happy camper!!

I went for 160 on squats but since I didn’t break parallel, I don’t count it.

New PR!!

3 rounds….I have up during the second round I was just so exhausted. I didn’t want to go on but everyone was cheering me on so how could I disappoint.

**New PR, I was able to clean 115# but I could only get my jerk halfway up. I was just too tired at this point and didn’t want to hurt my back. I’ve gone 6 days straight this week and I’m feeling it now. I’m not mad though, my last clean was 95# so really my PR on cleans is 115#!! Something to be proud of.

Wall Ball 14#
Burpee
Double Unders

Holly and I spent more time talking then we did the on the workout. We just kinda went at a slow, steady pace instead of really pushing hard and fast.

5k

So I did the 5k today. It was hotter then heck but I still did it. Only way I’m going to get better is to keep at it right?

5K Time: 31:27
33 seconds faster then my last time!!

Once I started it was hot but my legs felt okay. Tired, but okay. I walked a couple of steps when there was shade….believe me, there wasn’t much shade either. I’m glad I did it though!

Ring dips

Time: 22:45

Nothing exciting to report here. I did do ring dips, had my legs behind me with toes on box. They really were tough but I got through it. My legs were so sore from yesterday, the squats really hurt. Tomorrow’s a 5k run. Not sure if I’m going to do it or call it a rest day.

Row 1000 meters
95/75 pound barbell Thruster, 21 reps
21 Pull-ups (kips)
Row 750 meters
95/75 pound barbell Thruster, 15 reps
15 Pull-ups (kips)
Row 500 meters
95/75 pound barbell Thruster, 9 reps
9 Pull-ups (kips)

If you do not have a rower, replace row efforts with a 1 mile run, 800 meter run and a 400 meter run.

Time: 41:58 :(

So my time was absolutely horrible……but I can say I RX’d it (recommended weight). I ran instead of rowed because we only have 3 rowers but I really wanted to give my upper body a little rest too. Running is still really hard for me and it felt harder tonight. Maybe because it was so hot out. Even the guys said the running was hard.

I have to admit…every time a car drove by I was hoping it would hit me. :(
