Soreness
Didn’t make the gym this weekend but I did get some basketball in with my son. I never realized how hard basketball can be. My whole right side is so sore today. And the cardio, damn! I was huffin and puffin. My son kept calling me old lady and laughing because I couldn’t make a basket. I was finally able to get the ball in the net a few times yesterday but I’m paying for it today. Going to have to start using my left arm to even things out.
Diet was bad as usual. Well maybe not as bad but it wasn’t clean. Today’s a new day.

And stop getting so down on yourself about the "usual bad diet." Smile, eat clean 90% of the time, and reward yourself with a cheat meal a week. You can do this, lady! I know you can

Soreness good! Means you’re getting that much fitter once the body realizes what the heck you did to it!

haha, i agree that basketball is super taxing, plus it takes coordination!! your son better give you props for playing basketball in the first place!!
