Vent
I have another week left of my REDuction Blog. I ordered another box because I want to give it a 2 months try. Things are going great. My little friend at the gym was there again last night. Went straight to the lat pulldown bar. Sat down, and proceeded to pull down 5lbs. Some other guy was watching him too and finally felt sorry enough for him to go over there and show him how to actually use the machine. Showed him how to do cable crossovers too. After the guy walked away the kid did about 2 reps and walked over to the treadmill. Guess he worked himself to failure.
I kinda snapped at a co-worker today. Ok, not kinda. I did. I was already in a mood because I was working on something that had to happen right that second. He walks over and I tell him not right now. He grabs the candy jar which I have a hard enough time resisting to begin with and holds it right under my nose. I say no thanks. He goes here take one, you know your going to later anyways. GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! So I snapped "I SAID NO!! WTF!!! I hate that shit. One, I don’t need you to bring it to me. If I want it, I’ll go for it. Two, when I tell you not to bother me right now. That means, don’t bother me. Three, NO MEANS NO!!!!
For crying out loud! Ok, I feel better now.
Ok, just kinda thinking out loud but I was at the gym last night and there are some good looking guys there. What I was wondering is why is it some of them go out of their way to stare and others act like you don’t exsist? Why do some insist on talking to you when your in a middle of a set with your headphones on. This guy did that, I couldn’t hear a word he was saying and I’m in the middle of a set. Trying to breathe and count here buddy! I just said I can’t hear you and he kept on talking. WTF!
Guess this has turned into my vent blog today.

hey! ive got one comment to make ont eh staring compared to the men that act like your not there. personally when i was single, it would take me a great deal of time to talk to a woman i was interested in at the gym for a couple different reasons. one my preference is to not ruin a good gym atmosphere by adding drama, number 2 is that even if you have self confidence talking to women is always hard and from my personal experience a majority of men are intimidated by a fit and sexy woman. thats all ive got

That’s too bad about the co-worker… just throw him a couple right hooks and he’ll leave you alone! I couldn’t stop laughing when reading… some people just don’t get it.
About the staring, some people go to the gym to actually work out and some go for more of the social aspect. I turn my music on and try not to make eye contact with anyone while I’m working out, or they’re working out. I want to get in and hit the machines hard and stay focused. When people stare, I assume I’m doing something right.

Sorry about the annoying co-worker, and the people who are annoying you at the gym. 
We all have those days where everything irritates the snot out of you. The good thing about your reaction to your coworker is… I bet that will be the last time he tries to offer you candy. 
o you feel better after getting all of that off your shoulders? I always do… unless some annoying little f*ucker comes in and tells me how I should have dealt with the situation after I CLEARLY preface that I just want to vent. LMAO!!! HAHAHAHAAH!

If you look good like you do, guys will stare. I admit, sometimes I take a gander at the hotties in the gym because.. well DAMN, they look so fine! That’s it. I don’t want a date. I’m not stalking. I’m just looking. Kinda like looking at a beautiful sunset, only I’m looking at your butt. Sounds like BS, but it’s true. As for guys who don’t look, there’s lots of reasons. Some are just focused on working out and the last thing they need is a major distraction. Hell, I almost failed high school algebra because of that kind of distraction! Even now, sometimes it’s safer, and easier, just to not look. As the famous fruitbat Oscar Wilde said– "Those who restrain their desire do so because theirs is weak enough to be restrained!" And the guys who try to talk to you while you’re in the middle of a set with your headphones on? They are simply dumbasses.

Wow, that’s really rude of the coworker - and immature!! It seems they’re the hardest ones on you, especially when they say why do I resist when I’m already skinny or something… I think that snap to the coworker was well-deserved!

Holy cow, I’m in the Marines, and obviously it’s a Male dominated base of course. When one of my friends (a female Marine) walks in, all eyes are on them. It’s absolutely crazy. But people thinking you don’t exist, those are the guys trying to be curteous. I will look the complete opposite way when a beautiful woman is there. Plus, like it was said in Rocky, "Women make your knees weak"
