Tired

My legs have been so tired lately. I think all the cardio I’m doing is really wearing me down. I climbed on the stairmill yesterday and my quads were burning and that was only after 3 minutes. I’ve been walking for an hour on my lunch than after weights at the gym I’ve been doing 15 on the stairmill and running for 15 on the treadmill. I’ve been feeling frustrated lately. I lost 5lbs and now the weight loss has stopped again. Ok, yesterday was a serious cheat day. Pizza for lunch, cheeseburger and onion rings for dinner with a sundae for dessert. I know, I know….porker! I’m feeling it today. Definately a cardio night.

Ok fellas. I have a grip. Don’t stare at a female when your at the gym. There are mirrors ALL around us, I can see you gawking. I don’t find it flattering or cute. It’s just plain creepy!! And don’t try to talk to me when I’m in a middle of a set and you can clearly see me counting! Wait til I’m done THAN you may speak. And please don’t try and throw me some stupid pickup line. That is not what I’m there for. Well, unless your really, really hot. Than my eyes and mind have been known to wander, I loose track of the number of reps and I get that stupid grin on my face and the only thing I can say is "How you doing?".

Man, I get the wobbly-leg, flu-like post-legday blues, too. One thing that seems to help me is to take a huge simple sugar bolus immediately post workout with a buttload of hydration. I’m not saying I’m ready to hit the trampoline the next morning…but it seems to help a bit. Best of luck! al

I definitely have to lay off intense cardio every 2-3 days, otherwise my legs just feel like lead and dragging! It’s amazing how springy your step is after that day’s rest, though!

And I definitely agree - and for some reason, they always seem to look when you’re doing inner/outer thighs machine - it’s not an open invite, dude!! I always have to place a towel over like a napkin!

With women it’s sexual harassment, but for men? It’s called positive reinforcement! I wore on of my Superman "S" t-shirts to the gym several weeks ago and I told the one woman it stands for Skinny. She said, something like, "Oh, I thought it meant Smart."

I immediately looked glum and told her and her friend that I was actually shooting for Sexy.

They both laughed. I think they barreled through chortled and directly into GUFFAWED! :(

    NO HARASSMENT FOR THEM!

    :D

Yeah Bull Dogz I’ll level with ya I have no respect for woman that come into my gym and start flirting with the guys I’m lifting with. I no were men and our dicks can more than easly be diverted, but I find myself getting extremely fustrated when were trying to pounds some weights using very specific rest ratio and some tinny boopers withink they can just come over and start shaking their asses and talking up our time, I dont stand for it I’m known ass an ass hole and the guys loves it, But i know what you mean when somoene is lifting be it male or female just back off
