Chest and tris last night. Had a few distractions…like everytime hot guy walk by and smiled. (giggle) Chest is already sore this morning (to go along with my aching calves), attempted a one armed push up last night. Didn’t happen but than again I didn’t try it til after my workout. I just don’t have the strength yet. I was able to get 2 full dips with just body weight last night. So hot guy and I exchanged numbers last night. I had to pull him out of the gym so I could talk to him in private. I told him he’s always got someone around, he said I was always surrounded by guys….well duh, I’m the only gal there that uses the free weights. We had a good earthquake, wish I could have said it happened when I was talking to him but it didn’t. I was sitting on the couch eating dinner and watching some boob tube. Roxy (my bully) was sitting next to me drooling and hoping for a bite when everything started moving. I thought I was dissy for a second and realized it was an earthquake. Roxy let out one bark when it started and went right back to staring at my plate. So much for animal intuition! Lol Not much to report tonight. It’s going to be shoulders, no hot guy he’s leaving early to work security at some club. He asked me to go, even went as far as telling me the gym was closing early so that I wouln’t be able to go and I have time for the club. For a second I almost fell for it…..miss the gym, silly boy! Happy Halloween everyone! I have to go to my son’s school and help with their Halloween party and watch the parade. Another exciting day in my life……huh!

Tonight was the first night I’ve seen hot guy since I asked him out. He’s flirting with me now. Guess he just needed the go ahead. He didn’t work out tonight so I was able to concentrate on legs tonight. Great workout, did high reps. It was just on tonight. Calves are of course last, and I like to hit them on the donkey. Well hot guy is training tonight. So here I am on the donkey just finishing my 3rd set and he sets up his guy next to me. I’m bent over, ass sticking up and he’s standing in front of me…..come on, back up……just a little closer…….man I just wanted to take a bite. Well, I did 8 sets of calves. I’m not going to be able to walk tomorrow but it was worth it! Oh and he thinks I have lips of an angel….hehe….and he hasn’t kissed me….yet.

Last nights boxing session really kicked my butt. I pulled my rotator cuff a couple of years ago and last night I it was burning! I think I did pretty good. Only wanted to pass out once, I was so tired at the end of the 30 minutes (stop laughing, it’s harder than it looks) that I couldn’t even knock out a 5 year old. (No, I would never hit a kid, unless provoked! Just kidding, for those of you without a sense of humor.) My right hand is a little sore today, it hurts to bend my first 2 fingers. I couldn’t even type last night my hand was shaking so bad. It’s still shaking and the knuckles are a little red. For those of you who have never done it, it’s like getting great cardio and weight training in at the same time. My upper body was nice and tight when I was done and I had sweat pouring down my face. I think I’m going to do it again next week. I’m going to have to practice my combos though. I have a hard time with a left jab and hook (cordination problem). Ok, done typing for now, hands shaking.

So last night I talked to "hot guy" (sorry Al ~ the other hot guy ~ lol) again. I tried flirting but I don’t think he caught on. Huh! I know I’m pretty good at flirting so it couldn’t be me right. So after agonizing over it all night and this morning ~ you know ~oh, he’ll never go out with me! I finally said screw it at least this way I know either way and I went ahead and called him (at work). I knew he was leaving early today and I won’t see him til Monday anyways; so if he wasn’t interested I have a few days for this to blow off. So I told him who I was, he said "I know you, your at the gym everyday". Crap, is that bad? Does that mean I’m a loser and don’t have a life? Which, ok I really don’t have much of a life outside of work, my son and the gym. But anyways back to the point. I asked him if he would like to come over for cookies and milk ~ Lmao, I crack myself up. Just kidding, I asked if he’d like to go for a drink and he said yes. He’s out of town this weekend and I have my son so it works out.
Ok, so now about workout tonight. My pal gave me one of her training sessions at the gym so tonight I have a boxing session with the new training manager. I’ve mentioned him before, he is a mma fighter and he’s brought some new training concepts to the gym which I think is great. My friend had one this week and it wore her out, she’s someone who doesn’t work biceps but has the perfectly toned upper body that I’m envious of. But I’m still stronger….hehe! So I’ll be reporting tomorrow about my workout tonight. Hope everyone is well! (Shit eatin grin still)

Almost forgot, my girlfriend and I did pullups on the machine last night. I was able to get 4 with 25lbs assisted. She had to have 70lbs. Haha (evil giggle), nothing like a little friendly competition to help keep you motivated (another shit eatin grin)!

Nothing too exciting to report about last night. Hit back and biceps pretty good, already alittle sore. They were doing body fat testing at the gym last night, this time they have that hand held tester. I tried it and it said 22%, well I guess that beats 27%. How can it tell how much body fat you have just by holding it? Anyways, hot guy was busy last night so I didn’t get to oggle over him. There’s always tonight. Hell, maybe I’ll even get up the nerve to ask him out……….yeah right! I’ll stick to grinning and drooling for a little while longer. Why ruin a good fantasy with a relationship. hehe

Hit legs tonight, ok that wasn’t the best part. Hot guy was doing legs too. He was on the squat rack so I settled into the leg press (right next to him). We started chatting and he was telling me about the squats he was doing. Lower and hold, pretty simple although he tried to explain it in more technical terms. Hell, let him and I must have had that star gazed look in my eyes that he mistook for confusion cuz he said, watch me do it. Uuhhh, ok! So I just watch him squat, over and over and over. I can out do most guys at the gym on legs but hey if he wants to teach me something, who am I to disappoint. By the way, very nice ass! So he finishes squats and wants to work in with me on the press. I was moving a little slower than usual tonight. Hhhmmm So I of course he has these long ass legs (he’s probably about 6 - 6′1) I’m 5′3 and my legs just can’t reach the press after he’s done. So of course he has to help poor lil o me lower it. hehe Oh yes, folks the eye batting was is full works tonight. I move on to do the rest of my workout with this shit eatin grin on my face. Now I know why perverts have that smile on their face. Oh and I have no idea how many sets of squats I did cuz he was still talking to me so I lost track, it could be 4, 5 or 6. I guess I’ll know tomorrow when I walk like I’ve got a stick up my arse~! So I’m in the middle of deads, ok time to get serious. Had Eminen going on the ipod, was doing the bootywiggle (just for you pixiglitterpants - lol). I was set, picked up the weights, gggrrrr, look up and he’s smiling at me. ****! Duh, here comes my stupid grin again. Had to set the weights back down cuz you just can’t deadlift with a big ol smile on your face. Ok, one more time…..gggggrrrrrr. Got it! I asked one of the other trainers if hot guy had a girlfriend and he said no. Haha, silly grin is back! So tonight I’m all smiles, tomorrow I’m going to kick myself for not paying attention to what I was doing when I’m trying to sit or stand. Hope everyone is all smiles tonight too!

So my pal at the gym likes to do 100 reps on the weekends. Yes, 100 reps per body part. Of course I’m easy going, figured I’d give it a shot. It felt great. Everything was nice and tight but since it’s only one exercise per body part you not killing it. Just giving your muscles a jolt. We did every part except lower body. Loved it! Tonight will be leg night. I’ve been working on singles, trying to even everything out. Almost forgot. I did 2 whole dips last night with just my body weight!

I haven’t been doing cardio this past month because I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t want to get any leaner. I like having boobs and a butt. So I figured cardio still should be done even if it’s not every night. Yesterday I hit the stair mill for 20 minutes. It felt like death!! I could hardly breath and that last 5 minutes were torture, but I finished it. Couldn’t wuss out. Than I hit the abs and today they are hurtin! I don’t think I’ve hit them this hard in a long time. I did plank poses, one arm/leg planks, roll ups, roll like a ball….(yes, pilates). Besides getting stronger one of my other goals is to be able to do a one arm pushup. I used to be able to do them (just a couple). When you have a goal it gives you more reason and motivation to hit the gym! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I’ve added some new progress pictures to my profile. It’s been a month since the last pictures and I have to say I don’t see much improvement in my upper body. Lower body has more definition. I did take a week of and had a cheat week and a half so I guess I can’t complain too much.
