Saturday, October 20th, 2007Another good day yesterday with my 17 yr old and his trainer/coach. ( I am one yr older than the two of them together , btw.) We do this workout dubbed "the 300" because it is sort of the circuit kinda thing that the actors did to get so buff for the movie. Snatch with a squat, rows, Clean and Jerk, shoulder presses, etc in a circuit format. Each round is capped off with 20 elevated pushups. At the very end it has become a "thing" to do the pushups to failure , which usually means 40 something. I was leading the way yesterday and i somehow managed to get to 60! This was more than Coach and Son could manage, but our 4th, 26 year old gym rat named Jim burst my bubble by gutting out 61. The gaul of some people. hehehehehe great workout tho. …have a good Saturday. Don
