Another good day yesterday with my 17 yr old and his trainer/coach. ( I am one yr older than the two of them together , btw.) We do this workout dubbed "the 300" because it is sort of the circuit kinda thing that the actors did to get so buff for the movie. Snatch with a squat, rows, Clean and Jerk, shoulder presses, etc in a circuit format. Each round is capped off with 20 elevated pushups. At the very end it has become a "thing" to do the pushups to failure , which usually means 40 something. I was leading the way yesterday and i somehow managed to get to 60! This was more than Coach and Son could manage, but our 4th, 26 year old gym rat named Jim burst my bubble by gutting out 61. The gaul of some people. hehehehehe great workout tho. …have a good Saturday.  Don

I know it doesnt seem like much…

BUT…worked out with sonny boy and his trainer today and more or less kept up with them on front squats and C & J !  Woohoo…. (they arent doing that much as they get ready to compete.) Actually, I am pretty much strong enough, but I still suck on the olympic lifts compared to them.

Front squats, 130k x 3 x 6

CJ,  90k x 1 x 6

Woohoo! got something called a lunar density scan today at the Dr’s office, and bf% is down to 17.1!! Also measures bone density , (dont worry, I am dense).  Anyway, I knew I was a bit leaner, but it felt great. Probably keep me eating pretty clean until the excitement wears off.
