cut the fat

ok, decided to enter something concrete in the weight goal section of bodyspace.  Ive been working on a more controlled and balanced diet since last thursday, and I think I have dropped a pound or two. This morning at the gym I was 227. I can see that more controlled intake will work, I just need to stick to it. (Also see a nutrition guru at the gym for competent advice.) Skating tonite ….first HS hockey practice.

Three best words in English: " Yankees got hammered".  hehehe  Also, since I felt like crap yesterday , missed working out , got a strong one in today and feel a lot better.  Hopefully, Mr. Schilling will be eating his oatmeal today to get ready for a star performance tonight in the rubber match. Go Red Sox!

I know we are here to talk BB, but that was one of the more miserable Red Sox games Ive watched in a long time. Any Bosox fans out there know what pain is involved in Red Sox Nation. The Yanks just wont go away!  They get hammered by Detroit and Florida, but they always bring their A game to Fenway. Been happening since I was a paperboy. hehehhehe

Have to hit the gym today to get an attitude adjustment before the 3:35 game…

OK, so son and his trainer came up with this routine we have dubbed "the 300 workout". Its all general prep stuff, really . Lighter weights and sets of 10. Snatch paired with O/h squat, split squat and press, 10 clean and jerks, RDL with row, and 20 pushups.  We keep talking about doing 4 rounds of this , but so far we havent gotten past 3 ….whew! I feel completely spent after this and a little cardio cool-down. Hopefully it will result in a little leaner me… if we get attacked by Persians, or if there is a sequel, Ill be ready. hehehehe
