Can someone tell me if this is legitimate?

I recieved an email from a guy that sopposedly has quite a bit of money. He said that i look great and that he’d be very interested in sponsoring me in my bodybuilding goals. He said that he would send me quite a bit of money every month and that all i have to do is send him a picture to verify that i am who i say i am with me holding up a piece of paper with certain letters on them to prove that it’s really me. I could use the money to help me, but my conscience tells me that somethings up. All he want’s me to do is qrite to him every week and keep him posted on my achievements and progress. Has anyone out there recieved anything like this? Thanks, Pauli

I’ve heard about similar situations where someone is asked to send pictures for "sponsoring purposes", then no money shows up. Probably some gay guy who gets off on bodybuilders. If you DO decide to send a pic, make sure you’re fully clothed ;)

haha..yeah it could be legit but it does smell a bit fishy.. LOL. If it’s a serious offer, it will be from someone who is well known in the BBing industry.

Someone posted a few days ago about the MKAEK scam, or something like that. Are those the letters?

I’d walk away from it if I were you. It sounds to me like he’s trying to get someone to help him fake his own profile somewhere else.

I’ve known 2 people who actually sponsored athletes, and (1) they were local (2) had a management contract with the athletes they were sponsoring.

If something sounds too good to be true, chances are it’s not!
