When You’re Sad

When you’re sad and down, how can you get up and go to the gym? When you don’t think you’re good enough, how do you get up and go?

I have been down and in the dumps lately, probably the reason for the weight gain, I just stopped caring. I just didn’t feel that I was good enough and that I didn’t have any reason to continue.

How do you fight these battles inside of you to stay fit and looking good?

I try to think, well, you will be beautiful one day and then you won’t be so down.

That’s what I did when I shrank down to 105 two summers ago. Even when I was that skinny, I was so unhappy. That’s why I figure, who will say that if I do work hard to get to my goal, that I’ll end up happy?

I used to run on the treadmill, stride on the eliptical, and step on the stairmaster…every single day. All I could think of was getting skinny to be happy, to be noticed, to be recognized for my accomplishments. But the person who mattered to me most didn’t even care until I was gone.

I feel that if I do the same now, it’ll end up the same…

I don’t have much to be proud about these days, maybe a nicer body would be easier to obtain than be the perfect person for someone else.

You are the only person here who thinks you’re not good enough and you are making yourself miserable for nothing with that thought. Don’t waste the time..Yeah it’s hard to workout when you are feeling down, but just get yourself to the gym and let the feel good endorphins flow!..do it for the "person who SHOULD matter most"-you!

Yea here is the thing until you can focus on what you want and stop being such a people pleaser you wont be happy even if your the most beautiful woman on earth and you turn every head. Do something for yourself. Be happy knowing your in better shape than 90% of women. And as far as being sad, who cares the gym doesn’t judge you. The gym is the most honest judge free place just go and forget your sarrows and hit a good one and rethink about wwhat you need from a man. Trust me no man is truely attracted to a woman who can not love herself.

When you are down everything seems to look dark. Pretty soon something will make you start looking up and seeing the good in more things… possibly all of the positive comments from your bodyspace family will make you realize that you ARE worth something. Cheer up!! We all like you :) and we all care about you.

That sounds like me the first time I lost a whole bunch of weight, don’t get sad you’re beautiful anyway but yeah like what other people say never do it for someone else and stuff them if they didn’t realise how great you were until you were gone. Just work out and do your thing when you reach your goals you will be healthier and stronger do it for yourself cos you freakin’ deserve it!
