Progress?

hmmm….After being bummed by the scale! And on the advice of people I have taken progress pics. I can’t see anything really. Maybe you guys and gals can! Here…you better take this magnifying glass with you! LOL! Maybe you can find something.

WTF?

WTF?

I wasn’t expecting this…Why do I always get the reverse results of everyone else!!?!?!? At this rate I will NEVER make it to the FAME stage!

I have been killing myself in the gym, for the last 4 weeks, lifting heavy since last week and I am UP 2 Lbs!? Body Fat % is UP too!!!!!! I am freakin’ MAD!!!

Weight 160.0 lbs…up 2 # since August 1st
Body Fat % 30.5, was 29% when I started!!!…Aaarrrrrggghhhh..enough to set of a binge eating…but I won’t

I have been eating clean, I think I had one or two cheat meals all month! AND WTF!???!?!?!?

Ok, Ok, I will not freak yet! I think I will experiment. The next 4 weeks I am going to double cardio it! See what will happen.

YET! There seems to be a breeze in my bra…WTH is that all about???? And yet, the scale is telling me something different, talk about discouraging.

I haven’t posted any of the workouts since last week, been too busy….Ok, gonna have to start looking into how calorie counting works. BB.com says I need to eat almost 2300 calories…other sites calculate 1500-1700 which am I supposed to go by?!

MAN I am MAD!

On a good note…I amazed myself yesterday

Warmup 10 minutes elliptical

Front leg day!

Standing hack-squat machine 270 # 3×15
Seated Leg Press 160# 3X15
Hip Adduction 130# 1×20, 1×13, 1×15
Leg Extension 100# 3×15
Squats on smith machine with barbell (45# total) 3×15

Calves

Ankle circles each leg 3×30
Seated Calf raises 20# 3×15
Standing Dumbell raises 2×25# dumbell to failure approx 3x approx 25-28

No Cardio last night post

Maybe I am growing muscle?! I better be or I should just GIVE UP now! I am confused about the fat percentage going up as well!!! WTH is that!?

I didn’t know I could do that kind of weight ALONE! I guess my legs are stronger than I thought.

I am now officially into week 5 of my training journey to the FAME stage and I can truly say that I have learned more in the last 4 weeks about this sport, way of life, than I have ever learned or maybe I just read things before but never thought to put them into practice because before I was too obssessed about what ever new diet I was doing at that moment…but since I was a young girl the weights have come into my life…just in short spurts. Then I would give up because NOTHING was happening…well I didn’t lift long enough or stick around to see if something would happen. I have become more informed in these last 4 weeks and I am HUNGRY for more…GIVE ME MORE! I want to know everything there is to know about weight lifting…why…because FINALLY….let me repeat that…..FINALLY! I have come to realise that keeping it simple works….Exercise! Eat Right! Rest! And the results are forth coming! Who knew! Not me obviously! I was too busy being a yo-yo all my life!

I love all the information I am just soaking up like a sponge! I have the worst memory, but things that intrigue me I REMEMBER! Lifting is intriguing to me! The way the muscles move and look! Intrigues me! The way the human body adapts to change! Intrigues me! Good Lord! I am like Alice in Wonderland and Bodybuilding.com has made this whole learning process even better…they added VIDEO aides for people like me who read something and then try to picture it in their minds…the whole time getting the wrong picture…well BB.com has added the pictures to the hours and hours of articles I have been reading every day for the last month! And I WILL READ MORE!  I will LEARN MORE! And by George I will walk onto the FAME stage in March 2010! Because I became educated and with a little education…nothing is impossible.

Thanks for reading…I am due for my one month update pics soon so *sigh* gotta through that bikini thing back on again…!

killed it!

My back (upper, middle and lower muscle groups), triceps, rear deltoids and traps workout!  

It was on fire by the time I was done!  I could feel the heat as I was doing the cardio on the seated cycle 30 minutes at the end of the workout. Oh ya! Gonna feel it tomorrow! Thank goodness I only  have to worry about cardio tomorrow. I have to get this fat off me!

Anger is a great motivator

Last night I was angry when I got into the gym…yes, angry…angry at my life, angry at myself, angry at the world…just angry.

Needless to say…it helped my workout immensely. It was chest, bicep, shoulders and I dabbled with the traps too…I completely for got about my traps…I really need to think of all the muscles I have to workout…anyway. Anger helped me lift more, lift longer and I kept going until the last reps were to the point of jello arms. I am currently doing low weights 3×30. Then I jumped on the stairmaster for 35 minutes alternating steps, on non weight days I will do 45 minutes cardio, So sweat out all that anger and by the time I got off and did my abs, crunches and 2 planks…held the first for a minute and the second…I just about had it by 35 seconds. Need to recondition!

 I have a renewed sense of "I can do this" after viewing some profiles on here that are phenomenal transformations, it has given me hope, that yes, the fat can come off with a little hard work, and alot of determination. I am not afraid of hard work as long as the results are forth coming. I am determined beyond belief, there are two goals I have set for the year 2010, the first is to walk on to the FAME stage, not to win, but to show myself that I can! I am not up there to compete for the best figure, I am not up there to compete, I just want to be athletically healthy and strong. I don’t want to look like the Michelin Man when I wear white!

I will take progress pics more often as I have found that pics tell the story more than words ever can. Without pics it never happened ;) .

I have been logging all my food on Livestrong.com and I writing all my workouts in my little pink book I take with me to the gym. But I think I will also log them here on BB.com. So I can get a picture of how I am doing.

I am not eating enough food I have discovered. Yesterday after the workout I had only eaten 200 something calories by the end of the day. I really need some time to post everything here…man!,  can someone please add a few more hours to the day?
