I know this month off benefited my wrists and allowed them to heal properly, but not working out for a month was painful. I can’t wait to start it up again in the Windy City (it has been pretty windy too lately).

Well my last days in MA have been quite busy, but today I managed to make it to the gym at my "former" college, I saw some people I knew and they couldnt believe how much i gained in terms of muscle and strength. I haven’t noticed it much til I got there myself, I guess going to a "normal" gym has a psychological effect on me cause theres a lot of bigger guys there, but compared to where I was 2 years ago, I’m in a much better condition, cept now I can appriciate it more. Can’t wait for chicago though, and luckily my apartment complex has a gym in it, so 1 less expense for me to pay.

I will be leaving MA in 2 weeks to go to school in Chicago. I am taking this opportunity to start over again with almost everything, leaving a lot of my old demons and attitudes behind. With it I am gonna leave the idea of trying to get big, I am still going to lift though, I’m just instead going to focus on strength and losing some bf %. Maybe by doing so I’ll look bigger, but maybe genetics isn’t on my side when it comes to getting big, so instead of fighting a fruitless battle, ill just focus on what I have and making it stronger and look better. I’m hoping that my apartment complex has a gym at it to save time and money, but if not i’m sure there’s one close by.

I’ve been going to World Gym for a little bit now and I’ve noticed a fair share of attractive ladies there. when compared to most of the guys that are there at the same time, my chance is slim as is but do ladies like being talked to/hit on at a gym? or is it a distraction/annoying or shallow or disgusting (all the sweat/dirt and whatnot) to do so?

I am taking a 16hr drive to Chicago tomorrow night, which means I probably will not get to sleep tomorrow at all. Seeing how important sleep is for muscle growth/recovery, is it even worth it to work out tomorrow?

Not many people follow my blogs (no one I believe actually) but if someone could help me out here i’d appriciate it.

way back in the day (6 or so years ago) I hurt my lower back pretty bad. every now and then it flares up, making everything from sitting to walking painful. it decided to come back and visit me yesterday and is still here. this is going to set me back a while for working out as it hurts to do anything, if i had health insurance i’d see a doctor and he/she could figure out whats wrong and fix it. but i’ll haveta wait on that while trying to endure agonizing pain…sounds like fun

Tomorrow is my 100th day of working out with supplements and whatnot and I’ve come a long way since last year. Ive gained 15lbs, got 5 injuries (currently it is my right wrist) and made a good amount of progress in strength. As far as appearance compared to a year ago, i have a chest now (however small), and my shoulders and arms have grown a lot, so have my legs. Biggest difference has to be my tri’s, bi’s and shoulders. Least difference is my abs, the side "pudge" doesnt want to leave apparently. I’ve been avoiding cardio like the plague but I got to try to do it. Luckily college is almost over for the term and I’ll have all summer to work out as much as i can before/after work. I look forward to what the rest of the year has in store for my body
