How did you come to the conclusion that you plateau’d?
I have a hard time understanding why some people do chest and tri’s on the same day.Because you use your tri’s when you bench and I don’t think you can work them to their full potential. When you go to concentrate on your tri’s they’re already somewhat fatigued from you chest excercise.
I would try 1 to 2 muscle groups a day.
example: Bi’s and tri’s;
do a full bicep workout (barbell curls),then do a full tricep workout (skull crushers). then repeat untill you’ve completed 3-4 full (3-4 sets) workouts with each.
In my opinion, its hard to gain size when you do full body workouts. Muscles need time to recover and grow.
Also try to confuse your muscles with different weights for each set, this will help you not plateau and build biger stronger muscles
im not doing full body workouts, i do different combos of muscle groups (check my page if you want to see the combos). and i always do different amounts of weights and reps with each exercise and each workout
