Need to get back on track….
Saturday, February 16th, 2008I’ve been off track for the last month due to muscle problems in my neck and shoulders. The tightness has been causing head pain via the occipital nerve that runs through the neck. That killed my program for a couple weeks and I have yet to really get back on track. My last weigh-in, I gained a couple pounds of fat while on some meds and being rather inert. My overall weight seems to have come down a bit but I’m not sure where that puts me at the moment. I noticed that for a low bodyfat percentage, you really need to keep that "fat" number in check because the muscle does not impact the percentage nearly as much.
Strategy wise, its put me in a little quandry. A couple more pounds of fat put me at 18lbs, with less muscle than I had before. This is bad because I’ve lost muscle AND have caught up with the low fat range of my "high muscle" body. That does not seem like progress. So I need to get back on track, see where my body is at, and formulate a plan….but as I said, my weight has moderated from that 18lb weigh-in so I’m really not sure its rebounded that much.
