Ok I figured out a new way to hit legs…

One week, i’ll do high reps (goal is 15-20 on EVERY set) with just squats, sldls, and calf raises. I’ll work my way up to 6 sets on EACH, slowly.

Then the week after, i’ll do 6-8 reps with squats, leg press, sldls, extensions, curls, calf raises, 3 working sets each.

Alternate.

Reflection:
Woke up at around 2pm and friend called me up to hit the gym with him.. literally worked out on an empty stomach so I brought a shake to sip during my workout. Overall good workout.. would have like more volume on hams/calves but friend’s car + ride = I finish when he finishes, LOL.

Would have liked to do 20 min cardio but once again.. when friend finishes, I finish, haha.

It’s also pretty sad how out of shape I am, cardio wise… for me to hit the fat burning zone, I only need to go 2.5mph on the elliptical, while it takes my friend 5+mph LOL.

Oh also it felt awesome doing 4+ plates on leg press!

I knew early on my strength wasn’t going to be the best today.. decided to lower the weight on flat bench and high rep 185… I expected 185×12x2 but I couldn’t even manage that..

Also, Shock Therapy did absolute shit for me today… NOTHING from it.. that’s odd considering the first time I took it (couple months back), I got AMAZING pumps… I have concluded:

1) I do not respond to NO products and the first time on Shock Therapy was placebo..

or

2) I have built up a tolerance to NO..
