Well Oct. 20th was my One month mark from when I started with my new trainer. And I managed to get down to 232 which was 13 lbs down from when I started with him. I was only at that weight for one day but I have been sitting at 235 - 234 for the last couple days. I have upped my carb intake for my own sanity. My training was getting miserable and I was starting to feel like crap all the time. Last couple days have been great. I added about 2 cups of oatmeal to my daily intake and things are looking much better. I actually managed to get through a full leg workout yesterday without feeling like passing out. I am also feeling much stronger with the new carbs. Lets just hope for another big loss this month. Looking to get down to 210 at around 10 - 13% bodyfat.

Well after sitting at the same weight for a while and not seeing much of a difference in body image….. I got a trainer. His names Rocky and for those who dont know he is also the weight trainer for Kelly Pavlick the kid who just won the middleweight champion belt in boxing. He is also a body builder from the 70’s and 80’s before all the drugs were introduced. And let me tell you…. he does his job. He gets me to push harder and farther than I was able to on my own. Just having someone else standing there makes you want that one last rep. In less than a month I have dropped 8 lbs and still dropping. It took a couple weeks for my body to get used to the new training and diet. I get to eat alot more so I am no longer hungry. And I am starting to feel stronger and stronger. I will keep updating on my progress.

Well 10 years later after starting my quest for my black belt. I have finally gotten it. I took a few years off in the middle because of injury and then college. But I came back and hit it hard and got it. I’ll have to admit… lifting helped keep me going. Lifting helped me lose the weight and put me in much better shape for my final test. I did however lay off the weights for a while before the test to make sure I didnt create any injuries that would hinder me. But shortly after the test I happen to be flipping through my new Muscle and Fitness and found a 5 day split (1 body part per day) workout. I have always done 2 -3 bodyparts per workout. I think I have found that I usually hold back on my first bodypart so I’m not too tired for the second one. And I still end up tired on the second one so both parts get a lacking workout. So now with doing this new split I can put everything into each workout. I would generally get a full week to heal. And I can use the two rest days to work on muscles that I feel are lacking. Or extra cardio depending on how I feel. I have already hit Chest, back, arms, shoulders. And I have gotten the best pump and the most intensity since I started lifting. I also quit using my iPod while lifting. For some reason I can concentrate much more on the muscle without music directly in my ear. Its still a must for cardio and the sauna. Well tonight is legs… and I can already tell its gonna suck. I’ve been floating between 245 - 250 for a while now. Its been tough to nail the diet lately. Appetite urges have been consuming me. One day I think I drank 2 or 3 gallons of water trying to supress it. And all it made me do was pee every 10 minutes. Doing pretty good so far today so we’ll see how the rest of the day goes. Thats it for now. later
