Well its over and what a rush.
I just WON my first competition-YEEHAA
Add to that Automatic qualification for the Australian Titles on the Gold Coast in October.
All this hard work and prep for just a few minutes on stage. I cant think of a better way to spend my day.
All th training and hard work, commitment to diet and exercise and support from friends and family has made this one of the greatest things I have ever done.
Even my mother cried
I thank you all for your words of support and belief and will reward with some photos in the next few days when the CD of the comp comes in. All I can say is that even if 1 hr before you go on stage you arent nervous, there is no reason to get that way.
What a rush, even a lightning strike to the building during my free routine (cutting power and sound) couldnt deter my day. With flood lights on I still ripped out some poses for the crowd hehe what a show pony, lol I earned it I think.
I GOT TO ABOUT 5% BODYFAT FOR THE COMP AND i AM NOW EAGER TO DIP BELOW 4 FOR THE NATIONALS
Gee I love my stomach that lean
Anyway with a smile on my face I will leave this here and return swiftly with some nice photos, but fornow I have a new comp to train for
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx to you all
Pete

WELL ITS FINALLY JUST AROUND THE CORNER, TIME TO SEE WHAT I AM MADE OF.
THIS WEEK WILL BE QUITE TAXING AS THERE WILL BE A NO CARB DIET IN PLACE, ULTRA CLEAN EATING AND LOTS OF CARB/GLYCOGEN DEPLETING EXERCISE.
PERSONALLY I AM NOT A FAN OF HIGH REP TRAINING BUT ITS ONLY FOR ANOTHER 3 DAYS THEN COME THURSDAY MORNING I CAN BEGIN THE CARB LOAD.
BANANA CHIPS MMMMMM
JUST HAVE TO MAKE SURE NOT TO GET TOO CARRIED AWAY AS I DONT WANT TO THROW AWAY 12 WEEKS OF DEDICATION ON OVER INDULGENCE IN THE LAST 3 DAYS
GOTTA SOURCEA GOOD PRESCRIPTION DIURETIC AS WELL TO GET RID OF ALL THE UNWANTED WATER BENEATH MY SKIN
ALSO GOING TO TAKE SOME NICOTINIC ACID/ VITAMIN B3 BEFORE COMP TO REALY BRING OUT THE VASCULARITY AND GET ME LOOKING AS RIPPED AS POSSIBLE.
FOR THOSE WANTING TO KNOW I HAVE CHOSEN A PIECE OF MUSIC FOR MY FREE ROUTINE; ITS THE SAW THEME SONG (TRACK 13) CALLED HELLO ZEPP BY CHARLIE CLOUSER (USED TO WRITE MUSIC FOR 9 INCH NAILS), IT HAS BEEN EDITED DOWN TO 60 SECONDS AND I AM PRETTY CONFIDENT I WILL GET IT ALL DONE WITHOUT ANY HITCH OR NERVOUS FAULT
TO MY FIRST COMP AS A NOVICE AND TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE SUPPORTED ME I WILL HAVE A DRINK FOR YOU WHEN ITS ALL OVER
XXXXXXXXXXXXX

Well its been a long road so far
Training like a man posessed
Some things are going really well
Not gonna make 85kg by christmas but have hit my 8% bodyfat goal. good thing is after dropping the fat I havent really lost any weight. Still holding 82kg so thats a bonus
Shoulders have pumped up like crazy, Lat spread is going off, loves having one hell of a V shape now (better lines there than most bigger guys at gym)
From chest ups real ripped now and vascularity is nuts. Training is still hardcore and the good thing is Ive finally found what works to get stubborn areas to build
Comp is still a long way off but am getting excited about it, will definately be ready for it, just have to keep things going over christmas break
RPM/cycle classes are keeping me lean now and I quite like the intensity of this type of training.
All in all body is reacting quite well to varied training techniques, and cant wait to see what the future holds

Well its been a month since last update
I have changed supp a bit to Universal Products
Using Animal M Stack and Animal Nitro now and aon the odd occasion Animal Pump or Animal Cuts (how many times can one write animal in the one sentance)
The last month has just been hard training with new supps and looking to up the strength and intensity
I have found a new friend in Nitro
My sessions are now real hardcore and the intensity has increased dramatically
No noticable strength gains from it yet but have found it much easier to work at this level.
So what do we do when something gets easier???????? WORK HARDER AT IT haha
Damn I love training
Have decided to enter novice comp in 6 months so I have a new goal now
Look out Brisbane novices here I come *evil laugh*

Well its still early for stats but I was due for a weigh in so I figured Id make stats day the same day.
Its been a short week but OMG gains are still coming
I figure I have this workout thing sorted and these supp are doing great work
Only downfall is water retention around mid section aand midday bloating.
Will sort that out when course of supps is over
Training is still hardcore, vascularity during workouts is INSANE
Pumps are still huge and I get all buzzy during sessions
Loving every minute of it

Well weight is up nearly 1kg (2lbs) on just last weeks measurements.
Strength in shoulders is up am pushing decent weight with overhead press now
Muscle definition has improved
Just started legs again from recent injury to right knee (had 10 weeks off legs)
Surprisingly….
Strength is still there, found that single leg presses are feeling better than two leg, still pushing 220kg single leg which has kept me happy and squats are up as well.
Thank goodness my legs are my genetic gift, they react well to training
Received my Certificate II and Certificate IV in Fitness today
Start working as PT in the city in just a few weeks
Look out!!!!!!!!
