Check out my page on the Body Blog "Blog Bar" for the deets. A bondgirl means being strong, sexy, poised and professional. A bondgirl has a "day job" and a "normal" life and can snap into her alter ego as a cunning, stealth bad mother…SHUT YOUR MOUTH! That’s a bondgirl.

Worked out legs today: 180 on leg press (3 sets of 12), 75-95-105 on leg extentions (felt those babies!), worked on hamstrings and "up and downs" with 25 lb plate (hit my darn forehead in between the eyes working my delts with that thing when I got bored of legs….so dumb.) I did another round of legs and worked upper body a bit with HEAVY weights (for me): 25-35 for shoulder press (seated); 25 for hammer curls (1 set) and the other 2 sets with 15….i was shakin’. Worked abs and obliques like a mad woman on the decline ab "thingy" and did a few pushups to put a cherry on top of the workout. Felt good and tight. Happy Friday everyone!!!

Im only human, and this human likes a glass of red wine once in a while. We went out last night…sang at a Karaoke bar (fun!), but next time I will pass on the extra indulgence. Why? Too lazy to workout in the AM and now way too lazy to make up for it. Now there is just enough energy to bathe the 3 babes, then myself and maybe a little snuggle time. Fun, yes; but worth the wine, NO! Hope it doesnt throw my progress too far back. Just want to look forward. But the karaoke?……oh YEAH! That was SO WORTH IT!! Plus singing and belting it out is a great ab workout. See, I guess it wasnt such a loss after all!

I gave myself a good fall yesterday when I went running. It was more funny and humiliating than painful, for sure. I ran from the gym to the loop on Jacaman and back. On my way back to the gym, the sidewalk ends on the south side where the airport landing area is and it is just those thick grass patches. I thought, "Yeah, I can run on that…it will be like cross country". Nombre! Those grass patches are THICK and I tripped over one RIGHT AWAY and fell into the chain link fence and then proceeded to bounce off the fence, fall and then roll into to patches - full of stickers! Luckily, I just rolled on my left side a little bit and sat up on my ass pretty quickly so I wouldn’t get coated on the other side. SUPER FUNNY! Yeah, all the 5:15 drivers on Jacaman checked me out while I fell on my ass! My arm has a cool "chain link" bruise and scrape, but that’s about it. I carefully dusted off the stickers and spent a good part of the night pulling little ones out of my hands. But I still love the adventure!
Despite my little trip (or because of it) I slept really good… too good. I didn’t hear my alarm at 4:30. Well actually, no one who sets their alarm to 106.1 heard their alarm, I’m sure, and I woke up to the light of day instead. I packed my gym gear and will probably do an aerobic workout at 5:00….it’s a cardio day. My legs are a bit sore from the leg workout I did yesterday, but nothing crazy. My upper body is not sore at all. Maybe I need to do more pushups. I want to feel more of a burn.

Last night, my hubby and I workout in the bedroom…not that kind of workout! We actually followed an upper body workout from the pages of Oxygen Magazine: Push ups, Shoulder Press, Lat Pull, Tricep Dips….basically good stuff, and a good, fun workout. We took pics (see my progress photos) and enjoyed uploading the files. We enjoyed ourselves so much, before I knew it, it was 11:09 pm!! I need to be ASLEEP by 10 if I am going to haul my bootie out of bed for my 5 am workout! He said, "Your not gonna get up." Like hell I am not! The real enjoyment of analyzing my progress pics already had me motivated for the next day. I was already looking forward to it!
And now I am back from that workout, and it felt good. A little weak at first, but I mustered up my lower body strength and went for it. Bad thing is, I did get up a little later than usually and I only had time for a weight workout. That means a good little run in the afternoon to introduce a little cardio in my day. (Well, the "dance lesson" that I will be teaching my 1st grader’s class should count as a little cardio at Noon. Check it out: Its a Greased Lightning, Rock Around the Christmas Tree Christmas!) Hubby worked out too, this morning —taking a little power nap on the couch, are WE? He so cute when he snores (he!he!). Time for a shake and some oatmeal pancakes to go! Have a GREAT MORNING EVERYONE!!!

I ran a 5K on Sunday and it was a bit like resetting all my settings and I feel strong and energized to push for my final 3 weeks to my 18% BF goal. Last I checked (and it was the Wednesday before Turkey Day - hope Turkey Day did not alter my stats tooooooo much.) I had 3.6% BF to reduce to reach my goal. Well, my goal is definately insight. The week after T-Day was more inprep for the 5K and I concentrated on eating a bit more carbs than usual to have the right type of energy. I think that served me well, because now I plan to concentrate more on the "BASICS" of lifting and weight training to help really tone up and boost my metabolism for the final 3.6% loss. Plus, I have to admit, AFTER the 5K, I was famished and allowed myself a good cheat and ate a Bavarian Pretzel with cheese at the movies (double treat!…or should I say CHEAT) and an Almond joy candy among a few other little cheat morsels. AND I LIKED IT!!! Ha! Ha! But bottom line, it was a good little break from my self-imposed discipline of clean eating and burn-it-up exercise workouts and ultimately I have more "gusto" to really carve out my figure in the next 3 weeks. WISH ME LUCK, Y’ALL!
