Okay…don’t know if road to 08′ is approiate anymore. After knee surgery last summer (amazing form on front squats) and a compound fracture to a couple vertebrae in my lower back (amazing form on deads) I bounced back and ran a couple great bulks. Only problem is, im sitting at 230lbs and refuse to take my shirt off! Sure, i put up 315 for the first time on bench, pulled an even 5 from the floor on deads, but this shit is so not worth sweating uncomfortably this summer. I’ve made a vow to get back down to 200 asap. (asap meaning 15ish weeks) so off we go…

I need to get back to writing in this more, but no one reads it, so really im just writing to remind myself what the hell i did.haha. I ****ing LOVE this lipo-6x. Back 2 years ago i used the original lipo-6 formula before one of the ingredients was banned (even though they didnt change it to Lipo-5,haha) And it worked wonders for energy and fat loss, so much it gave me headaches during lifts so i eventually stopped using. Nonetheless it got my weightloss goals in action. Lipo-6x is great. I started my diet at 17.8% bodyfat at 225 lbs. Now i am down towards 214 lbs and am having another BF pinch test 2 weeks from tommorow. I’ve been losing around 2 lbs a week, and i by far prefer lifting first thing in the morning followed by some cardio. Hopefully by the test ill be 210. no clue about percentage…but my lean mass is right around 190…i just want to be in single digits before i bulk. okay, im just rambling on..my head is messed up, did legs hard today and southpark is distracting me now so im out!

It’s been a crazy couple of weeks, but i’m back. I’ve been keeping at it, just got too busy moving and with the holidays didnt find much time to be sitting around the computer,which i guess is a good thing! haha. My weight is coming off..but daaaaamn. Seems like its going to take forever for me to get around 190 so i can bulk this fall. Im through my bottle of 7-keto…all in all it was good for energy, but not the best fat-burner on the market i’ve tried. Helped me lose about 7-8 lbs, but no much for a thermogenic. Switched over to the new Lipo-6x today, and Jesus that stuff has got some kick to it. My stomach is turning like crazy, feels like a stove is burning non-stop, LOVE IT! Lil jitters,but hopefully this stuff helps speed up my diet and goals. I’ve also switched my routine up a bit. In the past few weeks,i’ve been kicking up the intensity of the cardio in the morning, which affects my lifts in the evening also quite a bit since im running on low cals. Plus, if i sleep in, it totally messes up my nights and days cuz i try to lift 8hours after cardio, so if i dont get it in till 2pm we got probs! So now i lift as soon as i wake up and grind through 30-45 mins of cardio right after, all on an empty stomach. Shit is rough, but i want it bad!

Good first weekend, stuck with my diet and cardio session. It’s so damn hard to eat clean while everyone around you is eating shit, but you just gotta remember its just that,shit. Sucks to pass up the sour patch kids at the movies, but you feel better about the decision in the morning for sure! Got more ezekial bread and cereal, and pushed through chest tonight. Im not going nearly as heavy as i normally do, for 2 reasons…one being i dont have a spot right now..so it’s a mental barrier, and 2. im trying to feel my lifts and movements much more than in the past..not nessecerialy intense..but ill drop weight till i get to that barrier.
On a side note,non meathead related, my friends and I got tickets for the indy show of papa roach, hinder, exies AND buckcherry on the lawn July 18, which happens to be my best bros 21, so that plus the clubs will be nuts!

This morning i got my 45 mins of cardio in no problem…drove to Columbus..bought a 50 inch plasma tv (sweet) and back in time to knock out some biceps and traps (weird combo i know, but i skipped the traps with shoulders this week!) So now im exhausted, crazy workout, but im gonna hook up the tv and have some people over tonight to help break it in…cant wait to see what Arnold looks like in pumping iron on it…who knows..he might even be BIGGER

Just got done with a great back workout…deads…rows…you name it. Very intense and got a good stretch on some of the machines. Knocked out the cardio with breeze…really focusing on bringing up my hams during cardio (reverse on elliptical or backwards treadmill) my quads are over developed compared to the back porch..which is what i want to really work on the next 10 weeks.

Alright…humpday=shitday for Bake.
Got my cardio in this morning, but this shit went down…1)Broke my ipod 2)Couldnt get my heartrate up to save my life. And i made it intense..nothing!Gym was cold i guess, who knows..tomm will be hell i promise.
Went back, got my chest/tri workout in, came home only to ruin it with a bowl of peanutbutter ice cream infront of me…which turned into a bowl of cereal..ya da ya da…i SUCK. Seriously, its Wednesday and I’ve already cheated myself. But i can go two ways here…make a note of it (mission acomplished) read it…remember how bad it sucked to mess up when things were going great…or..make Wednesdays my day to have a cheat meal…My hardass side is saying F*** off to the second option..while my sensible side is saying that would work…Either way tomm we will be making up for it hardcore with cardio on an off day…teach me to go for the freezer!

So I’ve decided to pace myself a bit and do cardio on an empty stomach only every other day, and the off days start with a lift followed by a short amount of cardio…20 mins. This morning i tackled legs/calves…brutal on an empty stomach!
4 sets of squats…4 sets of hack squats…4 sets of sled…4 sets of individual ham curls…4 sets of 1 leg quad extensions…4 sets of sitting calf raise…4 sets of calf raises on sled…and 4 sets on horizontal calf machine.
Played some intense basketball tonight at a friends church..had alot of fun but damn it makes me hungry! the ezekial food is prooving to be a true lifesaver…i crave bread and cereals and with a glycemic index rating of less than 35 this stuff is a miracle…i use it sparingly and it gets me through the day…piece of bread here…1/2 cup of dry cereal there…stuff will be very handy the next 10 weeks!

Turns out ol Bake has conjunctivitis instead of pink eye…so other than the retro glasses im wearing to the gym everythings gonna be great! Woke up and got my hour of cardio in on an empty tummy this morning…got some other stuff done and then some specific grocery shopping. Finally found a speciality food market in Bloomington that sells the Esekial 4:9 glucose free breads/cereals…because God knows i crave these carbs during my diet. The bread is not bad…the cereal..well..lets just say i topped it with some Splenda! Got all my meals in and pushed through a crazy shoulder workout tonight..very intense. Really starting to work on the mind/muscle connection everyone brags about but rarely feels because of ego…dropped weight a little bit and intensity went through the roof along with the pain of every contraction..very sweet!
4 sets of DB Overhead Press…50/65/70/80’s—4 Sets of Seated Millitary press…135/145/155/165—3 Sets Arnold DB Press…35/45/50—4 Sets of Standing High Front Lateral Raises…15/20/20/25—4 Sets of Rear Pec Dec Fly…65/85/115/135—4 Sets of Seated Side Lateral Raises (The BEST burn of the group)…15/20/25/25—3 Sets of Rear Delts on Cable…20/20/30—and to finish it up 2 sets of Behind the Back Side Laterals on Cable…very slow…20/20
Walked it out on the treadmill and read a little bit of my history books to get a jump on this fall..looks like cardio might help me kill 2 birds with 1 stone…and now im off to get my last 2 meals in, night!
Ps. Anyone who says they love cardio is full of bullshit
