What happened to the time when America preferred to be strong?
What happened to the time when America didn’t care if another country felt a bit uneasy with what we chose to do?
What happened to my Country that I fought for?
What happened to my Country that used to say, "mess with us, and all hell breaks loose!"?
What happened to my Country that used to say proudly, "God Bless the USA!!" and didn’t care if someone may feel a bit uneasy as a result?
What happened to the America that said screw everyone else, we are the leaders, and that’s a fact Jack!!?
Know what I want?
I want my Country back!
The one where we would unload a can of "whoop ass" on any terrorist who chose to kidnap, maim or kill any one of our citizens: Regardless if they were black, white, muslim, christian, jew, and so on. Mess with us, it’s pretty much the last thing you do! And oh yeah, by the way, we may choose to pour a little water on you if you’re an enemy in order to get some useful information.
Look folks, I want my Country back: The one that chose to never be a victim. The one that said, "lose your job, get another one!" The one that proudly stood by its decisions, all of them: Even the one where we unloaded two small tactical nuke’s, in a victorious effort, effectively ending WWII in the Pacific (for those of you who had forgotten).
I want the Country back that said, "We’ll kick your ass if you mess with us" and "God Bless" all in the same sentence! Remember that one? The one terrorists used to be afraid of?
So, listen to me now, hear me later…..ACLU, go blow yourself, because I want God on my side and I want to go kick me some terrorist ass. I want my Country back!!

I’m not as concerned with the ACLU as I am the criminals voted in this past Nov. No need to worry though, the path we are headed down will bring the fight to us, not the other way around. Peace brotha, and nice blog.

The answer to this question is easy. Its the result of letting anyone who jumps the boarder to give them more rights than you. It’s the result of over 30 years of affirmative action. This is the result of not having a draft. I could go on forever with this list. Forign countries would beg to even associate with us, we wouldn’t beg for them to be our allies. Our country is now past the point of no return. When jobs are not given by qualification but by skin color, theres a problem. If you have standards you are a racist and a biggot. I need to end this here, out

There needs to be another Revolution in this country and we need to get rid of the bleeding heart liberals who hate this country and all it used to stand for and stop them from apologizing to the rest of the world for being great and not taking Jack from anyone.

Scott - the country you and I fought for (I was a Marine for 8 years and served as a door gunner in ‘Nam) hasn’t gone anywhere. It’s right here, same place where it has always been. There is nothing wrong with trying diplomacy before bashing in a person’s head. That way, you will at least have given them the chance of seeing the light and making the right decision.

PK, thanks for your perspective. As you know, opinions and the ability to express those opinions freely is one of the freedom’s we have, that has contributed to our greatness. However, when diplomacy fails repeatedly against a self-declared enemy whose sole quest is to either convert the non-believer or kill the non-believer, it may be time for some, as you say, head bashing. I personally believe that there is a limit to tolerance: And now that our Country’s core values are being compromised, I say we have reached that limit. From a historical perspective, all great nation’s have one thing in common so far: The moment tolerance was allowed to sway policy was also the moment they began a journey towards imminent demise. Keep up the faith PK!
