Love the legs your with today!
Alright it’s settled. My legs are my enemy, and it’s becoming rapidly more apparent each day, that they just don’t really like me. I go out every three days and blast them like there’s no tomorrow, and they repay me with some soreness, and then wah-lah!…..NOTHING. ZERO. SQUAT. A FAT NADA. ZILCHO. ONE LESS THAN SOMETHING.
Is there any hope for me? Can someone offer me a lifeline?
I love legs, they hate me.
Here’s the offer and the deal:
For anyone out there who’d be willing to let me in on the secret to leg development, you know the one, the one that actually works for expanding the legs: there’s a bright shiny, brand spanking new quarter that could be yours.
THAT’S RIGHT: A BRAND NEW SHINY QUARTER!!!! BETTER HURRY!
I’m sure that my page will now be flooded with all kinds of offers, so if it is busy and shut down at any time, please try back later.
Parting shots:
-Skinny legged people are people too….
-Skinny legged people will inheret the earth….
-Do it with a skinny legged person today…..
-Skinny legged people are better lovers……
-You haven’t been, until you’ve been a skinny legged person….
-Get out there, with skinny legs….
-Have a skinny legged day….
That’s it……………..or is it….
Skinny legs for president!!!!

I have jsut one question about your legs and their progress, bigger or not are they getting stronger? Your body obviously has the ability to grow as evidenced by your upper…

Dude you are going to think I am crazy but I have really big legs and you know how I got them? Well i still do squats and deadlifts but the real development came when I was in the Army. Get you a rucksack or backpack, load it down with weights, I got up to 110 pounds then, ruck march. A brisk walk we would start with 3 miles, work up to 6 then get to a point where we could do 12 miles. If you can get some high top military boots and map you a course with some hills in it you will add cut mass to your legs….I promise!

Hockey to the rescue! Play hockey and build legs, guaranteed! Forget about football–hockey! hehehe But yes, constant bombardment of work will make legs grow.

Yeah my best days of legs were when I was running track, hitting legs twice a week playing basketball, running hills, biking everywhere, you think your legs have the highest tolerance when it comes being worked on because you are constantly on them, so adding extra activities besides squats and deadlift will help them grow. When you do hit the weights you have to shock your legs, hit them with at least one set that heavier than your normal sets. Hockey actaully will help you build bigger calves more than anything. Like soccer too. Try some walking lunges for quad and glute growth

BA, I agree with Jason’s advice. Also, we all have body parts that are almost impossible to grow even when we are doing the "right stuff". (My delts, for instance) My advice is to think outside the box and keep trying new things. Cheers, Mike

Hmm. Very intresting. Im in the Army. I have big legs. I walk a mile each way to the HQ everyday. I have over 68 combat equipment parachute jumps. I once ran 10 miles in 70 minutes with 29′ thighs while being capable of squatting over 450. But……….
I see plenty of soldiers with skinny legs everyday. They do lots of the same things I do but THEY DON’T SQUAT.
So I think it takes both things. I currently do one set on the Naitlus leg extension at 350 (the entire stack) for about 10-12 reps until exhaustion. In my olld gym I cold more weight ont the stack. Then I do one set of lying leg curls with about 150 till exhaustion. I add weight when I can do 12 reps. Then I do a set of squats with a weight that causes me to fail at 8-12 reps. Yes, I drop the bar in the cage at least once a quarter. I can usually get it back up. I go well below paralell. Then I strip the bar to 135 and hammer as many reps as I can. I don’t do squats more than twice a week.
Some folks theorize that larger muscles take longer to recover and grow. Maybe you are overdoing it?
I hope that was helpful.
Here is a pic of my left quad.
