Friday Warpage!
The following post is an on-going series, dedicated to blogumenting my continual progress as I work towards the INBA Southwestern USA in Tucson, AZ on April 26, 2008.
So today is Friday. Is it just me or do Friday’s hit anyone else by surprise. On Monday and Tuesday, I can’t believe it’s only Monday and Tuesday, then on Wednesday, I can’t believe the week is just crawling by, then on Thursday, I’m pretty much indifferent on the whole subject…..then BAM…it’s Friday and I wonder were the week went. Things that make you go, hhhmmm…
Feeling pretty good today even after a carb day two days ago. Sometimes I tend to eat just a hair too many carbs and suffer the effects of what I call, “Spillover.”
Spillover is when all of the recently produced visible vascularity goes away for a couple of days and my gut feels a bit large and bloated. Spillover doesn’t last long and it’s not necessarily an overwhelming feeling, but nonetheless, it makes me wonder why I decided to eat so many carbs. Those of you who do the low carb thing probably know exactly what I’m talking about. When I follow a low carb diet for over a week, my body typically responds rapidly and I notice the pants fitting looser, vascularity increases and a greater overall feeling of leanness prevails. Again, doesn’t matter, because I didn’t experience spillage yesterday or today…..Hoe Chee Mama – this is here for no particular reason…I just like the phrase. People, do with this information what you will….
And with that here are a couple points of interest regarding: my state of mind (mostly warped), physical condition, diet, training and other miscellaneous goofy gee whiz points of fodder.
Yesterday’s diet was as follows:.
300A – Low-carb yogurt with scoop of whey, small bowl of Natures’ path high-fiber pumpkin seed flax flakes, Small glass of grape juice
700A – Detour Protein / Energy bar (Chocolate Caramel)
1100A – Spinach and carrot salad with Chicken breast, two Omega-3 eggs with yolks, sliced raw almonds and raw pepitas with Olive oil and balsalmic vinegar and Mrs. Dash table blend
100P – Raw mixed nut compilation (Brazillian, Almonds, Filberts, Pepitas, Sunflower seeds)
400P - Low-carb yogurt with scoop of whey
700P – Spinach and carrot salad with Chicken breast, two Omega-3 eggs (no yolk), sliced raw almonds and raw pepitas with Olive oil and balsalmic vinegar and Mrs. Dash table blend
1100P - Low-carb yogurt with scoop of caseinate
Yesterday’s Heavy Duty workout consisted of: Arms
BICEPS
Warm up set of, wrist turned out, dumbbell curls – 25 reps with 20 pounds
One working set of, wrist turned out, alternating dumbbell curls - DROPSET
15 reps with 50
12 reps with 45
9 reps with 40
15 reps with 25
TRICEPS
Warm up set of standing rope extensions – 25 reps with 70 pounds
One working set of standing rope extensions - DROPSET
15 reps with 135
14 reps with 120
12 reps with 110
10 reps with 100
BICEPS
One working set of Hammer dumbbell curls - DROPSET
15 reps with 35’s
12 reps with 25’s
9 reps with 20’s
TRICEPS
One working set of overhead tricep barbell presses - DROPSET
12 reps with 155
9 reps with 135
12 reps with 105
TORCH FACTOR – out of 100 – 87.3
IMPROVEMENT THOUGHTS – Probably could’ve started off heavier with all weights.
Random haziness:
-Because I know these people are out there….don’t fret my friends who are less talked about, Monday is only two days away
-Are we really any better off than we were fifty years ago when gas was like 25 cents a gallon and people spoke to each other in the convenience mart?
-Does anyone else daydream about getting on a rocket ship and just cruising until you run into some unknown planet….No, nobody? Then………yeah I don’t either! I was just curious…………what?
-Doesn’t a righteous car like a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Viper, etc. just have to be some off-the-wall color like burnt-orange or lime-green? Why would you buy a very limited car and not put a very limited color on it. A white Lamborghini just isn’t right….sorry, a hazy debate some of the office peeps and myself have every so often.
-Does anybody out there have a spare custom chopper they are tired of and would like to donate to the BodyAuditor testing site for neglected choppers? If so, inquire within…Hey, it’s tax season, this may be the opportunity for a charitable donation you are looking for after getting hammered this year by the IRS….I’m just asking….

I like that saying too!
I think about leaving the planet all the time, but not in a space ship. I want to be able to float through space. I’m working on some of the more problematic parts of this equation as we speak.

knowing you could have went heavier on your first set will only push you do work harder next time! Awesome job bro! I don’t know about the week thing though. Some times I am so ready to get Friday’s work day over with, I forget that it’s *BAM* Friday! LOL

Spillover - in chick-speak, we call that "muffin top." Those last longer than said spillover, though…
And Hoe Chee Mama - that sounds like something I’d order at a Thai place. "Can I have some Pad See Ew and a bit of Hoe Chee Mama, please?" Yeeeaahh… that’s it…

Are these random thoughts really yours?? if so….ummmmm…. you need to stop getting up at 3am!!! LOL
