Is it ever going to happen???

March 30, 2008

It has been 30 days since i posted my day 30 pic. I took my 60 day pic and to my disappointment, i havent changed a bit. Im not sure what I’m doing wrong. My workout regiment hasnt changed and neither has my diet. Im still taking Animal Pak Multi-vitamins along with my creatine.

I am increasing my weight each week and I have decided to encrease my sets from 3 to 4 per exercise. My reps will still maintain 8-12 for each exercise. Im hoping this will be the change i need.

Please feel free to post any advise. Lord knows I can use it!

Day 30…25lbs Lighter

March 4, 2008

After 30 days of a strict diet and a strenuous workout routine, I am proud to say that i am 25lbs lighter! i can get into jeans i havent been into in over a year. Dont ask me why I kept them, I really dont know but im glad i did. Several weeks ago i bought a new pair that was too small, with hopes that it would motivate me to get in them. Well, it worked!! I finally wore them for the first time. What a great feeling. They are not the size 32 i am working toward, but i will definately celebrate my size 36 (down from size 40). I look forward to posting my day 60 pics on here. Hopefully I will be 25 more pounds lighter, putting me right at my goal weight I will keep everyone posted.

Second Week Diet & Workout

February 26, 2008

I am now in my second week of serious training and dieting. This seems to be harder than I thought. No wonder, it is said that only the strong willed and extremely dedicated start a journey of bodybuilding and actually "stick" with it. I’ve never been known as one who gives us easily, so therefore, do not expect me to quit.

Being that i am an extremely picky eater who absolutely hates veggies, i am having to make several changes to my diet that the "normal" person wouldn’t have to make. I am getting much of my nutrition from fruit and suppliments. I am presently taking the Ultimate Animal Pack. The suppliments in this pack are HUGE! I am also taking creatine to get the most out of my workouts. Let it be said…Creatine does not keep you from being sore, for today I am walking around like a one hundred year old man. I plan to incorporate Glucosamine and also Omega 3& 4 fatty acids to my diet. The fatty acids will have to be in suppliment form also being that  the only type of fish I like is fried fish. As we all know, anything fried is not good for you. So, needless to say, i can expect to spend a significant amount of money getting the body I want.

My workouts are going well. As I sit here my arms are sore from bi-cep workouts done 3 days ago, my chest and shoulders are sore from my workout yesterday and my legs are screaming from a run two days ago. I must admit, I over did it on my run. All this proves one point….Im not as young as I use to be. I will muscle through the pain and continue on my journey to a brand new me. I look forward to the day that I can have a body I can be proud of.

Please check in regularly to see what Im up to with my workouts and diet. I will also post weekly pictures here to show any progress. Also, before I forget, I have a Bowflex Revolution on the way due to our gym here in the complex does not offer the proper amount of weight for get any amount of bulk muscle built. My pics will begin when my machine gets here and Im able to actually do the exercises I want to do.

Thanks for reading and please feel free to leave and comments.
