ADVICE PLEASE!!! One hardcore muscle group a day?

Is it possible to workout one and only one muscle per day (5 different workout days) and go hardcore with 6-8 exercises and still make huge gains? I am trying to switch it up. I know when I fatigue my muscles to the max that is when I see the most growth. My fear is that I will give too much rest (days) in-between the muscles. Any knowledge on this would help!

I have to make the move to a local shitty gym. Not happy with the options I have and cant travel distances and waste time and gas to get to a great one. Hopefully with me paying to fabricate some of the strongman equipment it will make up for the loss of a good gym!!! AND….My fat ass didnt work out yesterday…had some "MSG" chinese….tired….but can see results after one week so that is great!!! Keep on truck…pulling I tell myself!!!

Gyms that dont allow chalk!!!

I went to a local gym and they said no chalk because of the new floors. WHAT BS!!!! It is chalk!!! I isn’t like I have asbestos on my hands or acid or something. I am not dispensing crack cocaine in the air. I am a little livid that a gym would be so pretentious to say no chalk because of our FLOORS!!!

I am sleeping like a rock. Does anyone feel like they get GREAT sleep when they workout? I am doing 3 days on 1 off 3 days on…..I figure in the beginning I should get a jump start on this and will worry about the lactic acid later when I move to more days or more workout time. Right now I am sore, but I can move still. I push myself to be the best and for strongman competitions I need to be.

My huge ass….

decided not to go to the gym last night. Sore as all get out. I love to support all the people in here, but I cant support myself. I need to just DO IT!! I am doing chest/tri’s/abs. I have to cut down on sets and exercises though. I am spending 3+hours at the gym and the misses does not enjoy that since I am not home most of the day with work and all. I am totally going to try for the BodySpace Challenge this year. Look out for my ass to take it…and if not, good luck to all who try. You can still do it (then show BodySpace why they should have picked you)!!!!

That is a great feeling. I will say the workout tracker on this site is awesome. I now have a new goal for myself…(along with all the others) to get to 100,000lbs lifted in one workout!!!! This is great motivation for all. I hope others will follow and utilize the resources this site gives you. Great free stuff to make you want to be a better person. Keep on truck….pulling!!!

Went yesterday…..feeling the burn this AM. Was able to do some squats, leg presses, shrugs, shoulder press, front raises, lats..etc. Felt real good. Was pumped up cant wait to go back today. I need to set a stop goal for general weightlifting and move to competition strength training. Need to have some things fabricated (atlas stones, harness to pull my truck, sled) so that I can start prepping for CHI SM!!!

Damnit

No workout yesterday….too much lactic acid and haven’t had the push from any other resources out there! I will make it though. I have around 145 days before competition!!! I am going to try and go this morning. The only thing holding me back is the Land Rover dealership and my car!!! Hope they can be quick or give me a loaner. I think I am going to do Shoulder/Legs/Abs

First day back

I spent 1.5 hours with chest/biceps/abs (didnt have time because gym closed early) and cardio. It felt really good. It is like starting all over for me, but I will be the best and make it happen no matter what!!!
