Damn!!!! I can’t believe it!!! I Fractured my right tibia!!!
On February 10th, 2008 I was with my friends from town playing a Flag Football Game Tournament at Giants Stadium (Yes, the Home of The 2007 Superbowl Champion NY Football Giants!)
It was for a good cause. It was a charity tournament for the Special Olympics of New Jersey. It was called the NY Giants Snowbowl.
Good news is we made it all the way to the championship game!!! Bad news was I only played one game. At the start of our second game all I was doing was blocking this guy and I heard and felt my right knee go “POP”!
I could still walk, but with a limp…so I took myself out of the tournament.
A few doctor’s visits, X-rays, and MRI’s later… They told me I had a non displaced hairline fracture of my right tibia. I was on crutches for 2 weeks and now I’m off them but now I’m wearing a Robo–like knee/leg brace something along the lines my friend Dawn Melanie had to wear!
I’ll be out of commission for awhile BUT….I’ll Be Back!!!!!

Listen I’m pissed!! All this Cardio talk…I just visited MsFitness68’s Blog she and others (including me) were commenting on how much Cardio Sucks and that you really don’t need it to get in Shape!
And then someone put a link to a study on how good cardio is for you.
Yes, yes cardio is great for your cardiovascular fitness but doesn’t mean shit in how you look physically!!!
You Can have great abs over time by just lifting weights and eating right…aka Proper Nutrition!!!
Think of cardio as a big band aid. You have this huge cut that requires stitches but you opt for just the band-aid. You keep changing and changing the band-aid. The bleeding slows down, but it never ever stops.
My friend, you’re in need of stitches (Lifting)! You finally get the stitches (Lifting) and after a while the wound is healed. You never need a band-aid again! Unless you cut yourself again. You definitely need 18 to 25 minutes of aerobic exercise three times per week until you get to where you want to be! Then you’re on cruise control and then lessen the amount if you’re happy with your results.
That’s it!!!!!!
