Doing Awesome!

March 2, 2009

I’m feeling really good about myself lately. I have increase my cardio from 1-2x a week to 5-6x and my strength days to 1, yes! once a week - to now 3-4x a week, also my eating plan has improved 100%. This has been a request by my trainer for a while now, but not until the last 2 weeks have I actually done it. WOW! what a difference this has been for me and quite the eye opener that I can do this if just putting in the effort. I can honestly say I feel better and the changes in my body are happing faster now than ever!! I know by this summer I will look good in my bikini!!

Pre-workout meal

December 31, 2008

I was having some problems with my pre workout meals. I have tried different ones from online and different books that I have bought at stores, which really have not been to successful for me.  I was referred by another member here on BodyBuilding.com, to check out "Brett123" for assistance. He offers professional assistance with nutrition/pre-contest advice. He is very competitive in his pricing services for your individual needs. He is starting a group "The Elite 12" it would be worth you time and effort to check it out.

If you have any pre-work out meals that have worked for you,  I would like to hear about them.  Thanks to all of you in advance for you comments!! :-)

Great improvment this week

November 17, 2008

Today, Monday has been one of the best days in a long time. I just increased my bench press weights and overhead pullovers. I even had a person comment while I was doing them that I was doing great and was impressed that I could… His words were "She is doing some serious lifting now" That was such a great feeling and pushed me even harder to do my reps.  I now can do 3 sets of 10 bench presses of 60 lbs. and 3sets of 10 in overhead pullovers!!! YES!!!! :-)   Now for the hard part of recovering those muscles….lots of water, right??
