New Me!!!

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

Ok - I fell off the bandwagon! "Boooo! Hiss!" :( I haven’t been on here in ages and well, I haven’t been doing so well at keeping up with my workouts. So - I joined a new gym and am getting back with the program! I’ll keep you updated, and hope to see the progress that I had last time. Unfortunately I gained all the weight back that I had previously lost! :( I’m sooo sad about that right now, but that’s ok, cause that means I have the motivation to do this all over again and this time complete what I started. I hope everyone else is reaching their goals. Good luck to everyone! This year - it’s a "New Me!"

Welcome!

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

Where to begin! In July I received a rude awakening of just how fat I was getting. I was pushing close to 200lbs and for me… that means I was FAT! Double chin, rolls over the jeans, nasty fat! ugh - to think of it makes me sick! Someone close to me that knew me very well but hadn’t seen me in quite some time pulled me aside and basically told me like it was. I knew how bad I looked, but for someone to call me out on it was even worse! He was right though, I was lazy, fat, and just going throught the motions every day. Granted that little talk aggrivated me, but it hit home and I then realized just how important it was to do something about it! I started out just changing my diet and running here and there. I lost probably around 15 to 20 lbs the first month. That was running everyday for no less than 30 minutes a day, doing an ab workout, and push ups. It was a start and after a few months, the total lost was 35lbs. I still haven’t gained any of back thankfully but I started slacking again. My diet started going down hill again, and I stopped exercising as much. Sadly, although I haven’t gained any weight, I know that I’m still gaining fat and losing muscle again. So… I’m starting it back up again! Hopefully I can stick to it and can find something or someone to motivate me to keep it up. I know what I want my body to look like, it’s achieving that goal that’s the difficult part. So… here goes nothing!
