This day is much more than a day for bar-b-que and no work. This is a day we should pause to remember those that have gone before us and those who are currently serving our country. No matter how you feel about our current war you should never forget there are those who will not be home for this day. When you snuggle in your comfortable lawn chair remember there are those who can’t be comfortable at all. When you watch your kids play there are those who long to see their children or will never see them again. We are fortunate there are those that have gone before us to ensure a way of life that is free. Take a moment to reflect on our fellow countrymen and women who stand on a line and keep us safe. This is dedicated to our honored fallen and to my son who has served two tours in Iraq. Be Safe…Blueknight - Somalia 1993.

i’m very happy with the 12 pounds lost since i started mybodyspace. i was 240lbs. in october ‘07 when my wife got us the membership at 24hr fitness I was at 253 lbs. My highest was 263 lbs. amazing how you can just let go and not see it. too many whataburgers! hopefully i can get back to my football weight of 200 lbs from senior year in 1986. the yo-yo weight loss i have delt with since age 19 has been a chore. this time i will not lose weight and put it back on because i feel somewhat satisfied. the only satisfaction is the feeling of hard work and keeping the weight off.

Isn’t amazing how much crap adds up in boxes before, during and after a move? We tossed out so much crap in boxes from the old house before the move. Goodwill became a daily stop as I dropped off clothes and furniture. Now with the new house we found crap we know we are not going to use and Goodwill welcomed me back.
It’s just like our bodies. We pack in so much crap thinking we can store it and use it. WRONG! Get rid of it! Lose it! Say: "I’m not going to save it for another time. "
Once you get rid of all the crap you’ll discover how much better you feel.

Packing a house for a move is definately a mental and physical strain. Can’t wait until its over. We still have been able to get our gym time in and that has been a benefit. What it boils down to is no matter what the task at hand is, the time you take to keep your wellness will get you through just about anything.

Wife home and our schedules are getting back to normal. What is normal for night shift workers? Sleep during the day, workout in the afternoons and hit the streets at night. It’s harder to keep a good diet with goofy hours. Breakfast at 10 pm anyone?

Tonight my wife comes home from a week in North Carolina. She spent the week with our son as he changed duty stations. I can’t wait until she’s back home in Texas. She has a session with her trainer at 24 Hr Fitness tomorrow. He’s going to punish her! HA HA!
I had a good week in the gym. Today I rest, tomorrow some stretching and cardio.

It’s always nice to meet fellow body builders in here. It’s cool to meet fellow officers in here. It’s awsome to meet an actual brother officer in here. Take a look at Craigd34. Now I know, I am not alone.
Heading to the gym. I have to catch up!
Be Safe out there. Support your local law enforcement and the troops!

My wife is with our son in North Carolina. I’ve been holding down the fort with our daughter. Heading to the gym late tonight so we could spend time together. Bi’s and Tri’s tonight. I’m never satisified with my arms or my abs.
Then again, isn’t that why we all go to the gym? Never satisified.

Hello. This is post #1. I made my bodyspace for personal motivation and pride in the hard work I have done. I’m not perfect. Who really is?
This blog is dedicated to my wife, Cathy and my kids, Jeremy and Amanda. Life without them wouldn’t be life at all.
