T-11 hours
Well this weekend I spent at my grandkids place. It was my granddaughter’s 9th birthday party on Saturday. Yes I had pizza and ice cream cake. But I made up for it with a LOT of cardio. My granddaughter and her friends really had me running the whole time, I couldn’t get a moments rest. I bought her the new game "Twister Hopscotch" and of course she wanted me to play with them.
It’s hard fitting size 14 feet into such a small area. LOL
Then we stayed overnight and we had our thanksgiving dinner, I promised the kids that I would take them to the park. We played some 6 on 2 soccer (The 6 kids we took with vs. me and my stepson) Again lots of running on the field. THen we shot some hoops. By the time we came back I was ready to crash LOL. Dinner I stayed pretty good with my diet…turkey and ham, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, didn’t have any stuffing or cranberry sauce… and then held off for only one piece of blueberry pie. (IN the past I would have 1 of each).
Today will be a busy day getting ready for the trip, our bus leaves at 8pm tonight. The only regret is that we couldn’t get the AMerican money before Friday when the markets free fell. If we got the money a week prior we would have saved a couple of hundred dollars…ah well.
Anyways, wishing all of my Canadian friends a Happy Thanksgiving, wishing all my American friends, a happy Columbus Day, and I hope everyone has a wonderful week. I WILL be back with more than what I left with LOL

Sounds like you a had a wonderful visit with your grandkids! My oldest daughter, age 29, got married this past April and to be honest, I would love to see her have a child someday. It would be fun to play games again & laugh at silly things with a grandkid.
Good job on resisting all the food at the holiday table! I am the hostess for our American Thanksgiving so I’m lucky to be able to cook healthy fare in addition to preparing all the calorie-laden goodies my family expects. I can eat lots of veggies with my turkey and they are happy to have lots of gravy on their potatoes and stuffing in addition to the whipped cream on the pumpkin pie. I like fresh berries for dessert myself but no else does!
